KWA KRISS

Postby Steamroller » Wed May 04, 2011 7:12 pm

I can not wait for KWA's KRISS gas blow-back sub machine gun, it's going to be so cool. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything more about it? I tried looking in their forums and couldn't find much besides "It's going to be a great challenge", and "We are very happy to do this." But nothing other than that. It will be cool, I first heard about the KRISS's real name from future weapons and that it is a .45 ACP and automaticaly fell in love with it. So again, if any one has heard anymore than i have please let me know.

All info is thanked

I dont base my purchases on looks, I base them on practicality and usefulness. It could be the prettiest looking thing around, but if it's going to break in the first five minutes of use, I want nothing to do with it.

I want it because of its reduced recoil. Things get tough with all that GBBR kick...

By that logic, the Kriss is a terrible purchase for Airsoft, because it's much less practical than other platforms, such as the AR series.

Why do you say that? I hear it's going to take Glock mags. You can find those pretty easily, more or less. I dont know, I think it will be cool.

Sure, KWA NS2 Glock mags, which are not as easy to find coincidentally. Oh, old KSC glock mags? Ya no those wont work. System 7 and NS2 only.

The M17 or G17 mags from KWA and KSC did not change with the NS2/System 7 update.

All preexisting M17 and M18C hicap magazines should fit the Kriss Vector by KWA, and the new KWA ATP.

Yeah it's ugly for sure...but I just can't help but watch videos of it firing...the thing is SIICCKK (the real one, anyway)!

And you know it's got punch. Just the sound of it is completely awesome. The stopping power with one .45 round is great as it is...imagine a burst of .45 rounds going into somebody. Not a good sight..lol!

Hopefully the GBB version of it will emit some of the euphoria that the real one provides to the user.

I'd be willing to buy the KWA KRISS just for fun.

You sure? I thought they changed the feed lips on the mags when they made the change, or did they just change internals?

Yes, I'm sure.

The M17 gas system is the basis for all System7 and NS2 GBB pistols. Look at an old KP45, or KSC/KWA M9. They have that little metal nozzle. All of the new NS2 stuff look almost exactly like the M17 or M19 internals. This is because they were updated to act like the M17s.

Other models were updated, the KSC G17/G19 and KWA M series were not updated. The mags are the same, and the ATP will use existing M17 mags. If the KRISS indeed uses that style of mag in the real world, expect it to use the same ones in airsoft.
