In years past, the nation of Mexico's genocide of piñatas as part of it's yearly "Cinco De Mayo" celebration has gone unopposed by the international community. Already thousands of piñatas are dead, and hundreds of thousand more orphaned.
After massive civil unrest, the Mexican government has begun forcing piñatas into internment camps. The Mexican government has issued a statement declaring piñatas an endangered species, and that the 'fiesta preservations' are for their own safety.
Still, Amnesty International has decried these actions as in violation of international human rights conventions, and has urged the UN to intervene.
The celebration on May 5, 2010 was the single largest scale slaughter of piñatas in living memory. After months of inquiry and deliberation, the UN Security Council has issued a warning to the Mexican government stating that if this unconscionable practice is not ceased then the UN will engage in economic sanctions, and possibly military intervention.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Mission Objective
Should military intervention become necessary, UN forces will infiltrate the primary internment area at 1200 PST, secure all piñatas on site, and escort them to the extraction point. Once at the extraction point, UN forces will be responsible for safeguarding the piñata refugees against recapture by the Mexican forces until the extraction helicopter arrives at 1600 PST.
ROE
Once on site, all Mexican forces will be considered hostile. Pinatas are to be safeguarded at all costs.
Uniform Guidelines
UN Forces: MARPAT, ACU, Multi Cam
Ejército Mexicano (Mexican Army): Everything else (US Woodland, DPM, DCU, etc.)
Game Setup and Scoring
There will be three piñata cages throughout the field.
The extraction point will have three "Liberty Kennels" in which to hold the piñatas after the are liberated.
Once in the "Liberty Kennels" they may be recaptured and returned to their original location by the Mexican forces.
Other than capture or recapture, no moving of the piñatas is allowed. If a piñata is abandoned mid field, an admin will return it to its original position after a short time.
At the end of play time the UN forces will earn one point for each piñata secured in the "Liberty Kennels", while the Mexican forces will earn one point for each piñata not rescued.
INTENTIONAL DESTRUCTION OF PIÑATAS BEFORE GAME END IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
Respawn will be en masse at the spawn points every 15 min by the game clock.
