I'll definately look into coming. I know I can't be there on the second day, but maybe the first day. I've always avoided trainings but I guess this is free so I may be down!

If you could advise and/or link what waiver(s) are required that'd be groovy. By waivers on site, that means at the area, not available on your website yes?
Cuz I find it highly unlikely that one of my parental units would be willing to traverse there with me just to sign/notarize a disclaimer for me. I'm 17.5 yrs old.

I've always liked communicating via radio, is it tough to get HAM certified?

HAM certification is actually pretty easy. I studied for maybe two hours and then took the test and passed.

Here's a post about it from Archangel_06. He works at the HAM Radio Outlet store in Tigard, and knows of many local HAM certifying tests. It costs $15 and is something like 35 questions. Not bad at all. http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php ... highlight=

I'm sorta hesitant about driving all the way out there, but I'll see. It's only 10 min farther than the Scappoose field from my house..
Guess I need to find a compass and grab one of those wilderness passes.

If it werent for my darn brother havin a birthday I'd try to get a ride in the creeper CAG van and camp for both days!!!! It looks sweet.

We have people going just Saturday and just Sunday.

Also, we will not cover much LANDNAV this time, but will emphasize patrolling and fighting whatever you may run into, or running the hell away. B)

Eudorus is looking for a ride Saturday evening to camp after he gets off of work, then playing Sunday.

Bring any rental guns if you have them and are willing to loan them out or rent them for $10 or less a day. I have a few new players both days coming from National Guard units I've been in, and they won't be stupid with the guns. I'll loan mine to the stupid kids. B)

Thanks for everyone who came out. I always love that site. Also the weather became phenomenal on Saturday and I think I left with a bit of a sunburn.

Now to pass out for two weeks.
