Discussion of load-bearing equipment, tactical gear, holsters, BDUs, and other gear related to Airsoft.

Use small mirror to look around corners = good. Soldiers have been doing it since WW1.

Using small mirror to aim around corners = dumb. A quick snap shot is more effective.

True, the Germans used a mirror sight on the Krummlauf equipped StG44, but that's different.

Haha "Reflectoscope"... You mean this?

While it's a nice idea on paper, it wouldn't net you enough kills to be worth it. You wouldn't get much of a chance to use it very often and it just seems like a hassle to use.

Agreed, a properly executed high-low technique with skilled shooters is just as good. Chances are if you're the kind of skilled player that can do these things, this kind of equipment is completely useless. If I saw one of the guys on my team with one, I'd rip it off his rifle and slap him with it and then slap myself with it for not training him right.

Awful idea.

I used a metal mirror to peak around corners all the time back when StrikeZone was open. You know what happened when I looked down an occupied hallway with it? Airsofters are pretty good shots in the dark if you give them a shiny object to aim at.

Also, the mirror allows for blindfire which is never, ever acceptable in airsoft simply because of safety. If you're that nervous about going around corners you need to get shot more so you can learn to deal with it like a man.

This, your going to get shot no matter what, so you might as well have fun doing it. There was another design similar to this for sale at S4 back in the day, although it was just two circular mirrors that attatched to the muzzle of the gun. But it still follows the same concept, which shouldn't even be followed.
