If you have those clear plastic retainers for dental anyways, why not use those (what I do)?
I have also used football mouth guards; you can cut them down A LOT unless you are worried about a compacting jaw injury in airsoft...

I like the lower half face masks. Steel>neoprene? Mouth guards do not appeal to me at all- I'd like to feel my face is safe if I play cqb-ish.Would this

work well together? Are wire goggles as safe or safer than plastic goggles?

If it were me, and i've done this, drive to aonw, put on the mask and goggles and see how you like the fit. They have a bunch sitting where you can test fit them.

Athletic mouth guards aren't designed to protect your teeth from projectiles.

I have taken teeth shots without any teeth damage and my guard has held up great. I would recommend mouth guards from customguards.com to all airsoft players.

Do not do this! I did this at Tacoma Tactical and had to spend $500 on a new acrylic piece for my front tooth and a new upper retainer to replace the cracked one. If you're going to use a mouth guard, use a thick one.
I'm a "fair weather" airsofter. I only play in the pouring rain, freezing cold, or broiling heat.

Typical athletic mouthguards may not be designed to stop BB's...but they work. I took a mouthful of BB's from less than 20 feet away, and I barely felt the ones that hit the guard. Till they ricocheted and hit my lip :P

All I know is you have to have something, no matter what it is. Athletic mouthguards are my personal favorite (now), but it depends what you like. On the flipside, though, I just recently found out it could cost you over $2,000 to fix a tooth. I found this out from personal experience, btw. Protect those 'teef,' or you'll end up like me:

I've been playing for 5 years without a mouthguard, including loads of CQC up at TacTac, and this just happened last month. All I'm saying is that getting hit in the teeth will happen eventually. Even for the most expensive of mouthguards, it's still one hell of a lot cheaper (and less painful) than replacing a tooth. Better to have one and not need it, that to not have one and wish you did.

About 3 hours of the most painful dental work I've ever had done, after the 2 hours it took to get a temporary fix the day it broke. They even had to drill down the bone in the gumline to fit the replacement tooth on real tooth.

Get a f**king mouthguard. :)

Parkour, the shirt is the Tru-spec combat shirt. Great investment for the Arizona high desert.

No they do not fit well. You have to do a lot of "fitting" to even get them to kinda line up. That particular face guard is really best fit to oakley style wraparound glasses as opposed to goggles. the nose of the goggles don't mesh well with the mask and wind up sitting slightly off the face leaving a nice little open spot directly to your eyes. I have 2 different lowers and tried with multiple different goggle styles. eventually I wound up just getting the full mesh face.

I got mine in OD from evike. But if you can wait a couple weeks to get it I'd always suggest going with EBairsoft. you can however find many more color options thru ACMgear.com

I do not have actual specs for you; I can verify that plastic goggles don't get holes punched through them when pegged with a 550FPS rifle, but as long as they're safety rated, the plastic goggles work great. I have, however, tested mesh and had bio bb's dust into the inside of the mask; this can cause some pretty uncomfortable conditions.
