This is a good starters vest.
I got one before it holds almost any type of mags. the pouches on the sides are huge I used mine for a dump pouch.
I just get a solid color.
What do you fight for?
I don't hate Mossy, I just hate the fact he has more gear than me.

I've used a woodland one, and owned an OD version. Very nice and light, made of pretty good materials. Go for it, but you'll want some PALS later.

Thanks for the help guys :)
Don't underestimate the guy in a woodland BDU.Unless his primary is a springer, of course.

It's a decent chest rig for the money. However, I will warn you about the buckles on the rig. If shot, they will break pretty easily. Other then that, it's great for starters.

It doesn't have to be a starter vest. A couple guys who I've run with for years use this (in tan, I recommend solid colors in case you change camouflage, OD or tan or coyote brown works best).
It holds up to 9 M4 magazines in the front pouches, or 6 AK magazines. The side pouches are good for canteens or general utility. I ended up cutting off the radio pouch because I never used it, but it can work if it fits you. The bib/belly map pouch is kind of useless, unfortunately.
Make sure you cross the straps in the back, like an X. I see a lot of new guys running around with it directly over their shoulders, and it slips right off.
