Teams?

Postby JoKeR1147 » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:11 am

What are the teams? I take it UN and the PMCs working for the dictator? What camies will be used for each team?

I'd also like to know how the teams are going to be divided up.
Is it going to go by camo patterns/uniform colors, armbands, etc.
---------------------------
Also do we need to sign an waivers or register on any special forum.

I'll tell my team if I can get more information, this is only a little bit over an hour drive for me and my team. I also know a couple other LOCAL teams in my area that I can tell but I want to properly inform them.

I have a concern about the local. It seems to be in a fairly populated area. Is the AO out in the open in view of the roads and such?

Sorry about the delay in response, I've been busy with real world stuff. Kid, etc. Details boring.
Anywho. First, the Location.
Shelton is indeed a City, but the field is 40 acres of Privately owned Woodland. The owner is the Leader of Team Six and the the owner of Bitter End Goggles. I can personally attest that there will be no problem on the playing field. The Parking is in view of the road, but the AO, where we will be playing is not.
Second. Team Division and Cammies.
The US and EU Forces are in Light Cammies. These would be ACU, ABU, DCU, Multi-Cam etc.
The PMC would be in Dark Cammies. IE Woodland Flecktarn ETC.
Third: Waivers etc. There are Waviers that you will need to sign, since we are using Bitter End's field we are using Team Six's waver which can be found here: http://www.st6-airsoft.com/waiver.htm
I will have some on hand for signing as well.
As previously stated there is no Mag Restrictions. FPS limit is 400 with .20's and if you wish to use a Sniper you need to be Sniper Qualified by either 1st Sword, Wart, Six, or Snoqualmie Airsoft Group (SAG).
I don't have pictures of the objectives (I will this saturday as I am heading out there to do some work on the Objectives themselves). But I can tell you my Team (the 13th Legion) has personally play tested to assure smoothness in the field, as well as interesting game play.
PM or post here if you ahve any other questions, and if you are going and need my personal number for directions etc, PM I'll be glad to give it to you!
Hope to see you all there! It's gonna be a blast.

Also there is a Swamp... I think Mangoes mentioned it.... Most of it is Ankle deep, but there is a section that will go right to your knees. During the safety briefing we'll go over its location etc.

So if we show up with a signed waiver (and obiviously gear to airsoft), we're good to go? Or is there a special website where we have to register?

You can register at one of two places:
http://www.wartairsoft.com/phpBB3/index.php
or
http://13thlegion.forumotion.com/

Becuase I'm watching this forum as well, you can also sign up here, and just tell me, along with names of Guests via PM and I'll make sure you have a slot added.

But as long as you have a Waiver (Or even if you forget it, like I said, I'll around 20 or so with me) you'll be good to go. If you have played at a Team Six event in the past you should be good as well.

Ok, I'll try getting a quick estimate of whose going along with names for my team and possibly another local team then PM them to you ASAP along what side we are fighting for.

nvm about that part... the person who wanted to know has other plans
------------------------------
Also you said you have to be sniper qualified to use a bolt action sniper with 550 fps limit; however, if a bolt action sniper chronos under or at 400 fps... its treated like a regular gun right?
