I'm not a sniper but you have help from me if needed. Just let me know if you need an extra hand for any aspect.

OK, I just bought the GG G96. I've been looking carefully for a while at different options. I would like to be there as well, even though I'm a bit new. At the very least, if I have some trouble I will learn something about myself, and gain some understanding of proper concealment and movement.

You guys prefer an extra spotter? I personally want to give stalking a go. This hinges on if I can get together a ghillie as well. The only issue I see is skill on my part and cash :) Time is not an issue.

Tuesday I'll put in a request for Time Off ;)

Edit: Put in the TO Request. Since its bout a month and 9 days in advance I'd be bummed if it was denied. Watching some youtube before work tomorrow

Hell yah man - bring whatever gear you got and come hang out. You don't need Gucci shit to hang. We can get you set up for a stalk if you just have basic camo - no need for a ghillie (although they do make things easier).

There'll be a range setup so you can test out your rifle's capabilities as well.

Sweet! You're nice, thanks :D

It's going to be a stock GG G96, but the stock version of it comes with GG's versions of Tanaka's upgrades if I remember correctly. I'm waiting on it right now, pretty awesome. What kind of weapon do you use, Sheepdog?

I mainly use an APS2. But I'll probably bring the G&G M14 & A&K SVD w/ C02 conversion just to play around with. Working on an HPA setup for M700.

Church - good! Look forward to having you out there.

The Aussie Sniper is in. That is unless school intervenes.

By the way my spotter is 13 and also my brother so can I bring him.

@ReaperXIV - I'll allow it but make sure he stays by your side. You're responsible for him and his actions, make sure you coach him well. I will definitely need a waiver for him with a parental signature (not yours). Just an FYI most events are 14+ I'm making an exception since he is your family and we probably won't be shooting 'live' targets.

@Gilbs - 15 is fine, I will need a waiver with a parental signature on it.

A link to the waivers are on page 1 of this forum. Please make sure they are filled out BEFORE you come to the field. If you show up to the field and you don't have a parent signed waiver, I'm going to have to turn you away.

For those over 18, I will have waivers there for you to fill out.

More info to follow in a few weeks. I will be at real sniper school returning May 9th.

Are you planing on having any shelters up? I don't like the idea of my foam filled bag possibly getting soaked. If you don't, I may be able to get a large tarp and some rope.
My father once told me, "Some times all you have is a bullet and a prayer, don't miss."

Shelters? What you want cappuccinos too? How bout a foot massage?
:gaypride:

No I'm not bringing any shelters. Bring appropriate attire & gear for the weather. We are training RAIN or SHINE. With a little luck it'll be clear and warm. If it's raining, hey even better because it gives the snipers an edge during the stalk. If you absolutely need a shelter, bring it. It'll give us a reason to pick on you. :)
