FAPC sizing

Discussion of load-bearing equipment, tactical gear, holsters, BDUs, and other gear related to Airsoft.

And having stuff mounted on it doesn't make it flop?

If I was gonna buy a Gen2 FAPC, I'd just buy an EPC without a cummerbund. I like the FAPC cause it's cheep cheep. :P

Having 6 AK mags in pouches on the front doesn't cause the pocket to sag.

What about flop? Like during running. There's no velcro on the inside that I can see to keep it from expanding.

The two buttons and velcro keep it in place. I haven't had a single issue with it moving.

FAPC's are great CQB & general use carriers.

I have a myriad of different plate carriers and releasables and it's nice to have a variety and to have a few that require off-set pouch mounting/placement like the DBT FAPC Gen 1's. Both of my current FAPC's are Gen 1's and I like them just as much as my other, even numbered webbing carriers.

My son and I use the FAPC's mostly for CQB events and woodland events when we're going RECCE or non-fire team objectives..etc...due to their smaller size and compactness. 8)

One question of somewhat relatedness that I feel doesn't merit its own thread.
Can a FAPC fit an admin pouch above a row of M4 magazine pouches? I like the tiny style of the FAPC, but I have too much use for an admin pouch to give it up.

Gen 1 can't, Gen 2 can. If you run shingles, though, you can put the admin on top of those.

I'm sort of looking into one to fill the same role as an MBSS, although it will probably make me cut down on gear a bit. Also, how does the sizing on the FAPC work?

+1 to what Juice stated..

Also...they work well with admin pouches if you want to run DMR...the short .308 (7.62mm) open-top mags are great as they are short enough for FAPC's to have an admin pouch above them.

I had 2 TACOS mounted under my MSM admin (which isn't the smallest thing) and had no issues drawing any mags from it.

Sizing is based on plate size.
