Weesatch fit tiny people? =)

Postby God » Tue Apr 05, 2011 7:09 am

Yeah, so, I'm 5'3".. I have been looking for a carrier that will be adjustable to at least be functional, if not comfortable on my tiny frame. To give you a better idea of my size, I wear xsmall short pants and xsmall regular jackets.

I am being offered a Weesatch, and am kinda tempted, it just seems a bit... Big. Any ideas on size adaptability?

Thanks..

i have a weesatch and im 5' 4" and it fits great on me, and im pretty small, plus itll get rid of the need to buy mag pouches. it'll fit but you will have a ton of straps left over.

The 'Satch series for airsoft is garbage. The back plate pocket combined with the location of the strap is awkward, the integrated magazine pouches are awkward and don't collapse when empty (they are designed for real-steel length magazines obviously, not airsoft, which can make them a beyatch to get out unless they have pulls on them.)

Go with what Commie says. For me, unless I have replica hard plates, a cummerbund helps with fitting on smaller frames (I'm 5'9, but pretty thin.)

Get a DBT FAPC. It's smaller. My HSGI Wasatch was kind of big really.

I just got the Pantac version of this. I'm about 5'9" and it sits a bit higher on my chest, but for someone your height, it would probably fit more like a full sized PC. MOLLE real estate is a bit limited because of its size, but if you combine it with a battle belt etc, you shouldn't have any problems. It is comfortable, not too heavy, and does not restrict movement as much as other PCs I've tried. It's also 30 bucks for this one, so if you're on a budget, it wont break the bank.
