I'm living in Corvallis and I'd be more than happy to come down and help train with you guys if you need it. Always looking for a chance to work on my fieldcraft and shoot around with good company. Again goodluck to you and your team sir!

Shifty your support is greatly appreciated, we would be thrilled if you would come help us train.

My point is that you don't have any idea what your team is supposed to be. You are looking for random people to show up. We see these "teams" year after year and none of them last.

I know what I'm building in my team, thank you. Sorry that I'm not sharing that information with you, but its not really your business. I appreciate your concern, but I have the support I need to keep this team going. We have a backing. We have a plan. And we are putting that plan into action. Time will show this, God didn't make the world overnight and we don't have to build our team at your pace. I do most of my recruiting face-to-face, not on this site. I assign roles to people who are talented. If I had a sniper, I'd be stupid to make him an Explosives Tech. "Jumping the gun will get you killed". These kids on here are my new recruits, they need to be trained. That doesn't mean we ALL need training. I don't want random people. I want people who are willing to learn. People who want to train.

I politely ask you to stop being so critical, we're not as unprepared as other teams. Please, and thank you very much.

Too tempting. Be sure to recuit special people to special roles if you plan on going larger than ten. Ten riflemen are ten riflemen, not a team.

Until we go to realcap mags or they have weapons shooting a different round, everyone in airsoft is a rifleman, just dolled up.

He's keeping all of his team related stuff in his own thread, so it's not really cluttering up the website as much as constantly popping up on the unread list.

Go easy on them. They're a new team and doing a theme they want to do. Not everyone can afford the expensive camouflage, weapons and radios, nor does everyone want to use them.

=======

I'd say an active new team is a better deal than a long standing old team that hasn't ever moved past a few guys. Also, Lambda, I'd say ease up on saying you're better than other teams already. You're not any better, just doing a different theme. Airsoft is a big world, so different strokes for different folks.

@ Jester: I respect your opinion, we do need to organize a bit more and i appreciate it very much sir.

@ Darius: I worded it poorly, and you are correct. We are not any better than anyone else, we are still growing and we need to focus on getting bigger while getting better. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

And to all: your advice has been greatly appreciated. Over the next two days we will be starting construction of a webpage (we will not release it until it is completed, we don't show unfinished projects.) however there will be a link from my facepage to our new Team facepage, which will be completed within the next few days.

Hey, does Multicam count as woodland? I don't have anything other than boonies-.- Reason: Helmets are too loud for my style-
"OD or Woodland Camo TacVest- Chest rig? I'm buying a Weesatch soon.
OD or Woodland Camo Elbow/Kneepads
OD or Woodland Camo Backpack (molle compatible) or hydration backpack-Have one FS?
Boots (must be proper police or military grade) "- Um, not if they cost >$100. My civilian boots will work... They don't even make size 7 military boots-

Edit: I will wear the required things, I just can't afford them. I'll buy some kneepads, I can't wear elbow pads, literally CAN'T. Boots, again, I'll wear them if they're issues. Otherwise, my black combat STYLE boots will work...

Malik take a chill pill buddy :) We have exceptions because we know some gear can end up being really, really expensive. I've invested a lot in airsoft. Now multicam? I want to see you in woodland, its what identifies us as the STF571, its our colors. Multicam is acceptable in only one way: if it is your vest/chest rig or backpack. Your clothes themselves, bdu pants and blouse, must be woodland camo. I know where you can get nice ones cheap. You donthave to wear a helmet, helmets are entirely optional. Boonies however are not accepted, in STF571 boonies are reserved for something that I will inform you of later. As far as boots go- tan is acceptable if you CANT get black, we want black boots as its a little harder to spot than a shiny tan color.

Well not so much helping you train. More like training with you. But I'd be happy to pass on what knowledge I do have.

Tan combat boots (I'm assuming that you're talking about the Army's current issue style) are not shiny. Black boots are actually more shiny than tan boots. Also, IMO, tan boots work much better with Woodland uniforms than black ones do.

Good point nasty, the current issue would probably do well. I personally use black police boots.
