Postby tacomatactical » Sun Mar 27, 2011 7:16 pm

WHAT: SCENARIO SUNDAYS!
WHERE: Tacoma Tactical 810 E F ST Tacoma, WA 98421
WHEN: SUN MAR 27 0900– 1200
COST: $20 pre-reg $40 door

Tired of the same old shoot 'em up? Rather play the single player story mode of the latest video game? Looking for scenarios ripped from todays head lines? Then you need to come to Scenario Sundays.

In order to participate in Scenario Sundays you'll need to have at taken ACTS-CQB I. We suggest that you also take CQB-II as well. But the cool part is that you can take then class the same day as the Scenario!

What will you experience? A fully immersive tactical environment where you will apply the skills you have learned in our courses in a full on mission based scenario. Before each mission you will receive your operation order, plan and rehearse your mission, and then be issued any special equipment before executing your mission. After the mission you will have an after action review and feedback from real world operators who will provide you with valuable feedback. You will be able to review your mission video before moving on to your next mission!

Check out a couple of videos:

Here's a sample mission:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TACTICAL TEAM 1
Operations Order Zephyr

SITUATION

Mid-day, unnamed Middle Eastern city in civil war. Non-permissive environment with local civilians still in the area. After an artillery attack likely several hours before any more major hostilities.

MISSION

Recover and/or destroy Intelligence Item Zephyr.

EXECUTION

Based on HUMINT secured by 4th ID Zephyr has been located in a one block area near the town of Lisbane. The commander’s intent is to infil into the area, locate and secure Zephyr and exfil via vehicle at checkpoint Delta. Because of the nature of the area of operations, limited support will be available. Med-evac will only be through the vehicles already staged.

Task Force Alpha is to Cordon and Search Grid 86032504, locate Zephyr and meet with vehicles staged at checkpoint Delta.
Zephyr is located in a black case with no distinguishable markings. Extreme care is to be exercised when handling and securing Zephyr

Looks like a great learning experience. Is the training (CQB I) included in the price, and what time(s) is it available?

Hopefully the guys in these videos aren't the guys providing the training. With that said I am interested in this. When and how much is the class prior to the scenario?

So is it 9-12 or 12-3?

So I am assuming we just need to show up to this and go from there. I have had enough dynamic entry training that I think I qualify for the scenario. Judging by the videos provided it will not be hard to act like I know what I am doing...lol

The class is from 9-12, then the games after. The training will cost extra on top of the entrance fee, and I am still waiting on a response on how much that is.

Oh, and the actors are the guys that work there, and who I assume will be giving the training, not the guys running it.

So what your saying is the guys in the films are the guys providing the training? If so I'm out. I am not paying extra to unlearn my skillset.

Sorry out of town on Spring break with the fam for a couple of days. Here's all the answers.

1. Training is required for newer players and/or those who do not have a lot of experience. Focus on ACTS-CQB I is shooting. Because of the nature of the scenarios, we expect a level of shooting above an average skirmisher. Our course will increase your speed and accuracy. Basic level clearing and team movement is involved but the real benefit for anyone coming is that you will be trained on the skills that you will need for the scenarios during scenario play.

But, if you feel that you do not need the training, send an email to tacomatactical @ gmail.com with your name and reason. As long as you are not an a$$ hat, you're likely okay if you have previous experience with BSP or APST style competition level play. But we really do think you should come to the training if you can.

2. The guys in the video - not the instructors. Those are just people who were in scenario play. They had taken the course earlier.

So who are the trainers? All are special operations, most are active and all have combat experience in multiple theaters. I'm sure that BSP or AP will vouch for our cadre if you ask them. Bottom line is that you will learn something for the course regardless of who you are. If nothing more than a refresher.

3. Cost? Okay - so the scenario play is $20 if you pre-pay. The training is $25 if you pre-pay. If you pay for training, you can go to scenario play for $10 or a total of $30 for both the course and the scenario. You can prepay by paypal or call us up with a credit card at Tacoma Tactical (253) 345 1471. So like we said we really want you to come to our course and it's only $10 if you are going to come to scenario play anyhow. It will give you a leg up on those who are not coming to the course.

I believe I answered everything. Let me know if there is something I missed. .

I don't think that's the right link. Either that or the album got removed. Thanks for a great time today TacTac. Always a pleasure playing immersive, quality scenarios.
