I'm starting to think I should get the mk IV now. I think it's going to cost me $175 local, and I can probably get an extra mag, maybe. I also want to get a laser system on the rail for easier aiming during cqb, but that's going to have to come later. Thanks guys.

Alpha Wolf BBA: I would recommend waiting for one to come up in the classified ads.

Otherwise, good choice. Spend on magazines instead of LAM's.

I appreciate your suggestion Switchback, but I think I'm going to buy it at my local AirsoftoutletNW, 1 reason is because: they let you hold the gun and check it out before you buy it, and second: I hate online purchases, the shipping is always a hassle for me, and third: the people working there are very friendly and I trust them not to con me out, I'm actually pretty good friends with a few of the staff. Again, thanks, but I'm going to buy it there.

Good choice. I have nothing but good things to say about AONW.

I do, however, trust the people here (enough to buy from them).

I just put a light on my 1911 and one on my M9. I LOVE THEM. They make for great disorientation tools, help you "track" your shots quite well, and are useful to investigate rooms. Also great to ruin an adversaries night vision...

As for the whole TM bit, I'd go for it. If I had the chance, I would replace all my rifles and GBB's with TM replicas. They are just mystically perfect.

I don't agree. I think rail mounted laser systems are worthless, because there is too much play when your hand if flexing on the draw and its difficult to compensate.

However, I have been using the silverback grips for about 4 months now, the laser in located in the rear of the weapon, above the top of the blade of your hand, on the opposite side of the safety (1911). This makes the system less prone to wobbling with the minute adjustments of your muscles, and increases the actual usefulness considerably. Its really only useful for QD applications though, when there isn't enough time to properly draw a bead.
