ID a Glock 26?

Postby VogonFord » Wed Mar 16, 2011 2:59 pm

So, recently my brother was at an estate sale where they were selling a GBB Glock 26 for 35 dollars, so he called me up and asked me if I wanted it and I said sure, it's only 35 bucks and it sounded like he was describing a KSC/KWA. Aaaannd then I received it.

So, I don't have a camera, but I'll describe its features:

Full metal gas blowback
Says "Made in Taiwan"
No safe action trigger, not even a slot for it - just a plain flat trigger
Non-KSC compatible magazines (tried KSC mags in it and its mags in a KSC)
The little metal bar with serial numbers in front of the trigger guard is instead a safety, with forward being fire and back being safe
The guide rod has notch that holds it in place like Marui M9s do (as opposed to being flat like KSC Glock 26s)

I've never seen an airsoft Glock like this, nor can I easily find one available. Does anyone have any clue what it is?

As far as I can tell, Army hasn't made a 26 (only a 17) and the KJW 26 has the safe-action trigger.

Without seeing, it sounds like it could be an HFC G26. If it is, there will be a gold spider in a small square on the left hand side of the grip, near bottom, back of the grip.

Does it look like this? http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/PhotoGa ... ode=GBB187

From the Experience I had with mine, it is a full TM clone, and it will handle propane for at least 5k rounds (I sold mine before I could shoot more that through it)

I had an HFC too. Thing kept kicking until I fell down a hillside with it strapped to my hip, and I managed to find a rock. After that, it just was never the same....(re: I don't think I found all the pieces, as it had a plastic slide).

It is common knowledge.

this thread made me realize my first gbb was an HFC and not a KSC like I had been told. Oh well, mine worked peachy with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Still kinda wish I hadnt sold it.

The KJW G27 on ehobby doesn't have a trigger safety pictured ;)
