Re reading your post and realizing I messed up: the nature of digital patterns is that they are random shapes and sizes, This guy just happened to get a green heavy set of pants. No two items will have the same exact pattern.
His blouse is just more sun-bleached than his trousers. Usually you try to match blouses with trousers so they fade equally with each other so you don't look two tone like that.

We used to have 1 day a month where the NCOs would wear their super sun-bleached pair of cammis, called it "Snow Day"

So just to confirm what I'm seeing here. They are using both MJK and CB. And normally are seen wearing a land CIRAS?

Seems they're just training with NATO. Couldn't find anything about the USMC adopting the MP9
Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Interception Operations (MIO) assault force attach a cave ladder with a telescopic pole to HNS Aris during their final exercise at Souda Bay, Crete, Greece, Nov. 12, 2010. The MIO assault force went through a one-week course at the NATO Maritime Interception Operations Training Center in tactics to board a suspect vessel. (Official USMC Photo by Master Sgt.
