Sorry dudes, I'm gonna have to back out. After my SAW grenaded itself last weekend, I don't have the funds to attend.

Have a good time guys, take a lot of pictures!

Sign me up for the Rangers if there will be any slots opening for them, or if I could take Amos' slot, that'd be cool.

Seagreen and I have the missions for the event done, typed and in PDF format. There are three missions.

1.Snap vehicle check point (VCP)/ Traffic control point (TCP)
2.Knock and talk with town leadership
3.Assault an objective

For the USFOR teams We highly suggest that you practice your comms and have a good understanding of how to use 9 lines. Corpsman/ Medics should have a basic idea of how to treat and dress battle wounds as well. SMEs will be doing the grading based on a standard pass/fail check off sheet. I will remind Seagreen tomorrow to fire off the PDFs ASAP.

Minimum 9 lines and reports that every team should have:
UXO/IED
Medivac
EPW
Contact
Call for fire
SITREP

I very reluctantly have to bow out of this event due to ride situations. Sorry this is late in the game. Good luck to the other SEALs and all those who attend.

I can attend as opfor/Indigenous. Can also act if you still need actors.

Mark me down as a +1, might be able to pull in another person.

Yes, because in real life all opfor have a specific look and wear named tags that say "Hello, I am a bad guy".

I would think that it would be valuable to us that there would be noncoms and opfor that we have to discern and identify as part of the sim.

What I mean is that showing up in jeans and a t shirt (like I seen before) doesn't really represent what the usual OPFOR (Iraqi and Afghan insurgents) wear. All I'm saying is find pictures of OPFOR, and try to replicate them.

Though you have a point Rico, a corrupt ANA officer could potentially add to the event ;)

Are you sure? Because a lot of people in Iraq wear jeans and a T-shirt. Tennis shoes too. And an AK.
