I'm not sure exactly what CAG is doing for this, since Pickles was heading the OPFOR for this event (I have drill this weekend) and now he's unable to do it.

But....

I'm pretty busy with school and work and real life right now but probably within the next three weeks we'll be getting you a better number for who CAG is sending.

Also, for those interested in OPFOR, we'll be doing a group order from http://www.zarinas.com for some appropriate afghan clothing.

A set of Shalwar Kamiz (Pashto) / Payran Tamban (Dari) will run you $30 after shipping.

On top of that, add a ChiCom vest, Pakol (Pancake hat) or lungee (turban) and you're good to go.

For realism, those with young faces (ie child soldiers) I suggest getting a "Kandahari" styled hat and wearing sorme (under eye eyeliner) to get that Kandahari look down.

And remember, just the shalwar kamis and pancake hat isn't going to look authentic. Spice it up with a black waistcoat:

Or an OD surplus field jacket (many a cheap one at sportsmansguide.com):

Or a PSD style fisherman's vest.

Had to chime in here, Frosty and I at Milsimevent have been discussing what we were calling a "kit game", similar to this game here. It's our understanding that every player is working on a kit or two and this would be the perfect time to showcase that. We were hoping for similar results that are seen in this thread and game.

I will keep an eye out to see how this all goes, looks fun and I wish the players and promoters luck.

If I had to sign up, I would go as MARSOC. My current and favorite kit to piece together so far. I do actually have a kit for each...Ima whore that way.
