The casing, yes. The parts that make it work, no. I had nothing else to hold everything in, so I had to use the casing.

I used a different spring than the one they provided, with a more durable and stronger spring, and I didn't include the air-resister within it that made it lose FPS.

Also, I replaced the thing that you pull back with a stronger stick mechanism, to make it even stronger.

So you see, it is not directly from a NERF gun.
