Ive been looking to replace my old one point for sometime, and it seems that this is the solution, with out actually loosing the One Point Ability,

I have one on my EBR, being able to go from 1 point to 2 point with the heavy beast is great. It's a little tricky at first to figure out the clasp but once you do you'll love it. I also love the fact once you have it on two point configuration it's tight against you and so easy to swing it out of the way. I going to get another for my AR.

These reviews only make sense if your on the field with one mag.
It is still a great sling but the reviews are void without gear, they are more of "how to" videos

The AP Video Team recently had the opportunity to review the IAS. While we did not go into the field, we did try the sling with and without gear. A standard M4 carbine was used, along with a shorter M4 outfitted with scope, PEQ box, and lots of goodies to get caught on!

Looking forward to the video.

My only potential question about the setup is whether or not an operator can extricate themselves if the primary is slung on the back and gets hung up exiting from a vehicle / going through a doorway / caught on camo netting. It looks like the sling is set up to allow seperation of weapon / wearer when in 1-point mode, but the attach / detatch system doesn't work in 2-point mode.

Curious to see if that is the case or if I missed something.

in your "sling manipulations" i did not see you switch from strong to reaction side, much like MAGPUL's MS2 Sling allows. that would have been nice to see if it functions under those circumstances.

Awesome review, and I think I even saw my RAS on RBeran's gun!

I also had the same question KA-BAR has. Even if it doesn't, it still looks like a nice looking sling! I want one now. :lol:

I was wondering if anyone had an comparison feedback between the IAS and the Magpul MS2 sling. If so, I would be really curious to read it.

Morgan, I'm sure if you attached the IAS to the ASAP plate, than you would be able to transition strong to weak with ease. To me, any one point sling will do that with the proper sling plate.
