Not sure if this fits your requirements, but still, great brand meaning great quality. Also, Propper makes all 7 levels of the PCU/APCU line.
Please, I insist.

You can download the ECWCS GenIII manual which will basically explain the whole thing for you - the system isnt exactly the same, but is close.

Yep, Beyond also makes the super-not-standard-fit PCUs for SOCOM, IIRC. You can buy the regular sizes, too.

Well, unfortunately BC only offers L5s in a dual-pack, so you'd have to get two. So I'd recommend finding someone who wants one and has the same fit, then you could split the cost.

Where is this coming from? I was able to add a single custom lvl 5 jacket and a single pair of custom lvl 5 pants to my cart without any prompt to purchase anything else. I did not complete the order but I did everything up to filling in the credit card info and submitting the order.

Nasty... since 2007 I believe, Beyond has supplied PCUs for US SOCOM. I think they are a good choice. If I could afford it I'd go for it.
here is a link to a page with more info on Beyond and other layering systems for that matter. Beyond is toward the bottom of the page after OTTE

That's what Zaitsev on ASF said. He just ordered a L5 from BC, and said that he was forced to buy a two-pack, so he split it with ChainSniper.

I emailed BEYOND tonight concerning the question of whether or not you must purchase 2 of any PCU item. They responded in a quick half an hour. Here is the response and original e-mail.

We are in the midst of modifying this. The jacket and pant will be available individually soon. Please check back in the next few days.

Thanks,
Scott

Myself and a few of my friends are interested in your PCU level 5 jackets and trousers. We have heard rumors that when you order the Softshell jacket or trousers that you have to purchase 2 of either item. Can you please confirm or deny this? I know a good number of people who'd be likely to order some custom level 5 PCUs if they knew for sure. Thanks.

I know your name.... ;)

Thanks for that, though. I'll pass it on to some of the other guys.

My name has always been available in my profile :D

Please let me know if you hear about someone ordering successfully without having to buy double.

Nasty, what size are you? We can (possibly, like you said earlier) split the cost of the x2 PCU L5 jacket if we are around the same size. It would probably be cheaper to split rather then get just one. :D
