I met him through a Veterans group. I've seen his paperwork as well as his military ID card. As a soldier myself, I can tell that he knows what he's doing and am pretty sure he was in some form of special operations group.

He is not offering this training out of the blue. I basically coaxed him into doing it. He doesn't take airsofters seriously, so I think he doesn't mind teaching it to us.

If you meet him, you'll be able to tell that he definitely knows what he's talking about.

Is the roster for prepaid on the first page complete ie. includes those who registered from Tacoma Tactical? Also, is the whole course from 1100 to 1700, or is it small segments that you can drop in on?

The entire day is one block of training. 11-1700. The cost is now $40 to attend, and you can attend as much as you want.

We will break people into two groups, with those who are in full gear (OVERT) and those wearing fishing vests and civilian clothes (COVERT). The minimum group you can run a PSD OP with is 4, but it can go up to a full squad. We'll group people up and switch things around to keep everyone interested and learning. If possible, I suggest bringing a sidearm or smaller SMG. Rifles work perfectly fine. You protect your principle with what you have on hand.

I'll be showing up in a mix of Civilian and OD stuff, and bringing full gear as well as my fisherman jacket, my M4 and a Mini UZI.

School has been kicking my a$$ this term, so I have not updated the list yet. But speaking with TacTac, there is some play on the number of people. If you show up, you will be let into the course.

So far we've got about 10 vets and a handful of active from JBLM as well as some WA and OR National Guard.

We'll start off with classroom time with a whiteboard and walking through the situation. If you have an SUV or vehicle that you wouldn't mind using in the training, let us know! We'll be implementing vehicle use into it as well, since TacTac can allow vehicles inside of the premises.

Once we're done with classroom, we'll do the basic formation and way to move around an area. As soon as we cover that, we'll move on to more advanced stuff, such as takedowns and specific situations.

Roster updated.

Also we're doing basically what you want to learn as a student, so bring any specific queries when you come to class. We'll be breaking off into teams and working with a sort of flow drill for each type of common scenario as well, so come with guys you want to train with.

Again, if you think $40 is too much for a day of training, realize that just to stay afloat, most indoor arenas have to charge upwards of that just to have open play, due to overheads such as insurance and site rental. Add to that a world class instructor and you've got a deal.

NOTE: I am looking for someone to photograph the event. If you come photograph the event, we'll drive you to the event from Portland (to Tacoma, WA) and you get in for free.

Yes, you're spending most of the time photographing the event, but you also get to learn the material and can take breaks to try out everything.

Define "pictures" like professional??.....
I mean I saw pictures of CAG in the winter training and the CQB training.
I can do those. No problem. And I think I can take a bus down to meet you there (2 hours, but whatever)
Let me know Dan.

We want pictures like the ones from Holy Wars of Alzakistan. Lot's of them and not blurry (unless it's intentional). Winter Training (except for DJ's photos) and CQB Training pictures are good example of what we don't want.

I went on your facebook Russkie, and looked at em.
I can match that quality with my camera.
Though not a big a$$ camera, it does the job. (Hopefully)
I can do some test shots for yall if you like.

A couple of us from SCAR are going to use MUVI mini cams (about half the size of a pack of gum) on our weapons. Not the highest quality video, but certainly good enough to see whats going on in the training. You do get a very good "guns eye view" and I would be happy to try and coordinate with anyone who wants that video to go with what ever video they may shoot. PM me here. Really looking forward to this training opportunity. Thank you Darius for making this happen.

Alrighty, this event is coming up tomorrow. Hope to see you all there.

I'll have a roster there of who is planning on showing up.

.2g non-bio ammo is required. I'll be selling some there. TacTac will also have their own ammo for sale I'm guessing.

330fps is the limit on weapons.

I suggest you bring a set of full tactical gear you'd use for overt stuff as well as a set of more contractor styled gear. I'll be showing up in civilian/camo and a pistol.

The prepay period has ended, so it's $40 at the door. Cash money bling bling.

He is here for us, and open to teach whatever you'd like. The timeline is based on starting with some classroom, then going through some drills and then working on to more specific actions. Bring anything you'd like to learn to class and we can try to work it into the training.

Training is going to start at 1100 and go until 1700 at Tacoma Tactical. You can show up and leave whenever you want within those timelines. You get what you want out of it. There will be no solid lunch break, so bring snacks and plenty of water. I'll be bringing a case of water bottles just in case, so people who don't think so good don't dehydrate and die.
