We vs Kwa

Postby Low recoil » Mon Jan 17, 2011 4:09 am

I'm considering getting my first gbb pistol and do not know if there is a significant difference in performance between the 2 brands
Thanks for the help

Worlds apart.Service, build quality, spare parts availability, and most notably fuel economy makes KWA better. WE is a spitball compared to KWA.

If you go into Outlet, or any other airsoft store to actually feel the two, the differences are worlds apart. Both my brother and I have had KWA pistols for several years and they're still working about as well as the day we bought them. Which pistol(s) in particular were you looking at from KWA?

if you have the money, get a KWA. there is almost no comparison. i personally like the WE guns quite a bit, but i would still buy KWA if i had the money.

KWA for the win.

I've never had a KWA fail spectacularly. I've had a WE M-4 mag cook off like a frag grenade.

I will never again buy WE, and I recommend avoiding them like the plague.

KWA's are freaking amazing. WE's are adequate, but KWA is where it's at.

The new NS2 system is amazing in the KWA, i own a WE and wish i could afford a KWA. If you have the money, do it.

He's right. WE never gives good magazines in my experience.

110% agree! I have a WE 1911 and the from day one the mag it came with was constantly leaking! And even when I bought a new one it still consumed gas like a fat kid consumes cake!

I too wish I had a KWA pistol *cough cough*Chesty*cough cough*

When I have the option, I'll choose KWA over WE every single time. For one, their guns and mags are actually usually the same size as the real thing (WE 1911 mags wont fit in tight moulded mag pouches), and the gas efficiency on the KWAs is SO much better. I have gotten full magazines out of my KWA MP9s in freezing weather, something i wouldn't imagine possible with a WE.

Besides that, everyone's already made the 'quality difference' point for me, so I won't bother.

Haven't used a WE personally, but I've heard quite a bit of dirt about them. My KWA is running oh so sexy smooth so far, and I have put that poor MKII through so much shit. Dirt, mud, freezing weather, rain, hard drops ect. I agree with y'all, get a KWA if you can.

All these people speak the truth! The only things that makes me upset with KWA gas pistols is that the outer barrel is plastic. But even that is a good thing, because it increases the eficiency (plastic on metal is less friction than metal on metal). Much better than a part moving on another metal piece.
Anyways, yeah the price difference is worth it if youre gonna use it a lot. Definately, the KWA NS2 system..
