Favorite AEG??

If you had like $1k to spend on an AEG, what would you get?

Can't wait to see.
I'm particularly interested in what some of the more experienced members of AP would like the most.

(I refrained from posting this in the AEG section, I figured it's pointlessly conversational)

After something to the effect of owning 17 AEG's my favorite is between my TM G-spec and my CA LWRC for sure.

My favorite aeg would be my G&P m16a3. If i had 1k then i'd get a systema m16.

Wow thanks guys, I'm really stoked about the way this discussion's gone. Even more happy that both of my guns are on this list!! KWA M4 & RealSword Type 97. By the way, here's a little off-topicness: PLEASE rate/comment on my Type 97 in the rate my AEG section, it's being neglected...

Well that's something I thought and worried about a little before I posted this. I guess it could be either really. I was initially going for favorite, but Im not sure how to really tackle the question correctly. I sort of put a monetary limit on because I was scared otherwise it would turn into a ridiculous comparison of AEGs that few people actually own. Either way, I like to hear what people's dream and/or simple favorite AEGs are..

Which is perfectly fine, I just thought I'd point that out. Personally my AGM HK416 with a tightbore and red dot work perfectly fine for me, and that's only ~$300 worth of stuff

Nice, I appreciate that. I really like the Marui Type 89. Never even seen one in real life, but something about it really captures me. I dont think I necessarily like it more than my Real Sword though. Perhaps my absolute favorite would be a GALIL? I sort of went for the Real Sword because of stock accuracy and compatibility w/ my M4 mags, but I think the GALIL is my all-time fav. I like the King Arms one, although a lot of people prefer the ICS version, which I believe has an ambi safety that's actually functional and of course, costs substantially less.
Not sure why I put GALIL in all caps.
