Glock issues

Postby Juicemachine » Sat Jan 08, 2011 3:37 pm

Okay, so I've got 3 mags for my Glock. None leak gas, to my knowledge, and they're all in pretty goos shape, except that 2 of them have the feed lips bent inwards slightly, making them not feed often and damaging BBs.

I don't fancy paying $80 to fill my mag pouches and just having 2 mags for spare valves and shit, so I wanna fix them. Is there a way for me to bend or file the lips back into place to make them feed again? Has anybody had this problem and dealt with it in the past? Can I buy a pair of feed lips alone?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

what brand of mags juice? what you are describing sounds like a damaged loading nozzle in the gun. Had a broke one on a KWA 19 , it caused it to double feed, not feed etc....

They're KSC or KWA. I know that the lips are bent, as I can physically see it. I got them with a parts gun for my Glock.

Dremel tool. Bore the hole out to feed the bbs properly. Trying to bend them back will only break things, unless you heat them up with a torch first to make them pliable, but even then I wouldn't bother.

I've always had that issue with my KSC/KWA Glock mags. I've probably had half a dozen or more of the magazine feed lips get damaged.

Awesome. That's what I was gonna try, just wanted confirmation that it's not a horrible idea. Thanks a bunch.

Okay, so that's sorted out, but I've got another issue with my Glock (KS Glock 19) as well. I took it out to Snowmageddon last weekend, and found it wouldn't fire. At all. The trigger wouldn't move all the way back, and upon disassembly, it appears the hammer is locked in the back position, and the trigger won't move back far enough to release it. All other functions of the gun work fine, it's just the trigger seems to be caught on something. Anybody have something similar happen, or know what to do?

if i remember right, that happens a lot with them and is an easy fix. something out of place in the trigger assembly. i don't remember what or where it is specifically though, sorry.

This happened to a friend of mine's KWA G18. I worked around in there with a really small punch and popped something loose. I got it to fire twice, but after that it didn't work. He got advice from someone saying to gently hit it with a hammer (?) so you could try that.

Juice, I am ( was) a RS glock armorer. let me compare my real glock with my KWA glock trigger / connector assembly. I can then ( maybe ) give you some intelligent feedback.
I would advise against the " hit it with a hammer " approach

Hey just saying...Although it sounds weird, it has worked before.

Juice, I have looked into the real and AS Glock. I was quite surprised to see how many of the parts match up. However there are enough different parts due to the different functions performed. Sadly I would have to take a look in person to figure this puzzle out. Give Jesse at ASONW a call. he has been very helpful in the past in figuring out some of my problems with air soft guns.
