By cold, I mean below 60. And two of my teamates have Socom Gear M9s, and they shoot perfectly in the cold.

Also, I don't really want to spend over $100 for a holster.....

The SCAR had all sorts of problems, tappet plate exploded after 3k rounds, sling mount broke off, screws stripped out and the stock wobbled worse than me when I'm drunk, outer barrel fell out of the gun right out of the box.

The MP5 had janked wiring out of the box, you had to pull the trigger up to the right to get the gun to fire, the selector just plain fell out of the gun.

The gun I regret the least? Real Sword Type 56. Its been thrown, beaten, used as a sword in a sword fight, and still works, even after a lipo exploded in it.

The MEU safety fell out when I was walking around (walking, not running) and it had some internal issues that I can't remember atm.

A "Custom M4" made by a local tech.

I am never buying anything with "custom internals" ever again. In the 12 months I've had it, it has worked for 2 weeks.

So yeah, never again. Unless the tech's name is Jawz.

CA SCAR-L, I knew I should have gone for the FVC, but i decided i wanted a "sturdier" rifle, whole experience turned me off scars all together.

Oh well, my only regret for buying a gun would probably be a Dboys M4, the build quality was terrible and it didn't shoot out of the box.
Though I later ordered a Dboys AK, and that made up for it in every way possible.

E1 M14 EBR. Heavy + old E1 internals = Fail. When it did shoot, it didn't perform any better than a standard ACM. Wiring problems, cracked gearbox, stripped piston, lemon hopup unit, the works. It rarely shot farther than 40 yards no matter how much work and upgrades I put into it.
