New Team in Junction City!!!

Post announcements about your team here, recruiting, brag about your website, or ask about how to join teams.

Hold on there sport.

First, please don't accuse me of ridiculing you or your team, because I have done none of that, nor do I think anyone here has. My post was trying to pass an informative thread on to you, as there have been a number of start up teams lately, and most have not succeeded in getting off the ground. Hence, why that thread was written by Variable, a respected member of this community.

Now, with that said, your posts today were great. Your team rules are an excellent start, as are your other guidelines and bylaws. Stick with them, don't let up, and all will work out. As dos_Santos mentioned above, come to the Op that is going on in mid-February, whether you have 2 guys or 20 guys. There is no requirement to be on a team to attend an Op. In fact, there are many operators that are not part of a team, and they do very well. In fact, that is a good way to either prove yourself to another team, or even recruit members who are looking for a team. As dos_Santos also mentioned, introduce yourself, as that goes a long way within this community. The last thing I would mention about being in this community is to have a thick skin. Don't take criticism to heart, as it eventually will be too much to bear. Instead, use it as constructive criticism, and find the inner meaning of what has been said and try to improve on things....as you have done by posting your rules. Free website hosting is a good way to go to form an identity of your team. There are logo designers that are free online too.

Anyways, all I am saying is, well, welcome to AP sir. Good luck to you and your team, and I hope to see you on the field sometime soon.

Bring your guys (or guy) out to Lords Of War II and make an introduction. That's the best way to go about things for where your team is at.

Pfft, your just taking his side so he don't shoot you from behind next game.

And i would do the same if it were my buddy Josh, he'd shoot me in the back of the head with his sniper rifle just for laughs!

No apology needed. Just come track me down at an Op and say hello. Being that you are closer to where I am than a lot of others, if the team I am on gets a practice or something together, I'll let you know.

As for the team website, I recommend http://www.tripod.com; it is what I used to create our team website, it is very easy to use and the result looks pretty nice. Also, it's free.

There are a number of posts by the op that bother me. Too many references to fights, overly sensitive to constructive criticism, references to what appears to be questionable safety practices with sniper platforms etc. Honestly you are comin off as a bit of a douche. I mean that in the most non dramatic way possible. Post less, listen more, show up to a game with all your team or none of your team and have some fun.

It would help if you took all the info, rules etc that you have posted throughout this thread and consolidate them all in your first post so that people don't have to wade through all the posts to find the info. Posting your actual load out requirements, or even just the camo you guys are running might help get or keep interest from potential recruits.

I know Most people in this thread have layed you straight, but one thing that is not tolerated in this community is joking around with Replica guns, shooting you're friends "Just for Fun". This is to be left on the field, not abused just because you feel like you need a laugh.

Honestly, this whole thread has put the impressions that you are just another random team that one or two people came up with, came into AP running you're mouth off "We are Milsim, We have Coffee, We have Donuts... If you Donate..."

To me its non professional, at first glance i thought another legit team had popped up into the area, but this thread has led me to believe that you will lose interest in forming and keeping a team.

I also then realized, that you do not have a team theme, or at least you claim to have a Uniform with team patches and "Authorized" gear. People are not going to waist time looking into something like this that is ill prepared.

An example i will use is my teams web page: http://www.vivalapla.com/forum2/index.php

From what Dan was talking about, you get some pictures, even if they are just load outs or skirms you attend and start a good looking introduction.

Please explain you're milsim standard also. My team focus's on Light Infantry Platoon sized training's using as much Doctrine that can follow into the hands of Airsoft, our team is cut up from a platoon size down to the 4 squads that make the platoon, each with its 2-3 Team leaders and 6-12 personal. We train once a weekend, which is open to anyone on a team or not.

So far you have shown a lack of organization, no balls since you wont show up with you 2 man team just to say you did and to meet others, you have no set uniform from what WE on the boards can see, and you feel like you are being pushed into a corner like at high school.

Hope i am not being to anal.

Yeah shooting people that are on the same side isn't cool.
Milsim people don't do "desk pops", like in the movie "The Other Guys"
I myself am not a full blown hardcore Milsim guy, but still.
I dont think I've ever met Dan, so no, I wouldn't consider him a friend really, just a respected member of the community.

Fixed. hehe. But seriously, you reference fighting/stupidity a lot, like it happens constantly within your ranks. I know if I was looking for a team (hahahahaha) the first thing I would look at is cohesion. A unit that works well together on the field, bullshats afterwards, is going to be a team that wins, but also has fun together. You kinda make it seem like there is going to be a pissing match for every team decision. Its one thing to lead, its another thing to dominate. Its another thing to eat the new spicy mc chickens. They are so good!

As stated before, there are too many newbs that come and go around here with hot talk of "the next big team". You can not demand respect from anyone one here, we have put in our time and blood for our sport. No one will take you seriously untill we see you out there. Also, take a joke. You can not take half of the things said on this website seriously. We are pretty imature on the site...
