Quick Question

Postby Stanson » Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:00 am

Are there any special skills or know-how that I should have if I plan to lead a squad? I believe I am prepared, however I don't just want to show up at an event and be totally unprepared. Thanks for any help! :)

Make sure your own shit is wired tight before the game. That way, you can devote your time to unscrewing your squad.

Keep your people together. Don't let them get bunched up. Keep them moving towards the objectives, despite distractions. Don't let them get engaged in a firefight with 1 random guy off in the distance if he's nowhere near your objective.

I'd say communication is the most important thing. If you and another have radios that gives you the ability to split a squad and still be able to communicate. Very nifty if you're attacking a position. You can do way more working together than you ever can by yourself. Even if all of you or part of you have little experience.

What I would do if find a team or team leader and learn from them on how to conduct a squad. Sort of rising through the ranks. That way when you take over a section or a squad you will have all the tools to be an awesome squad leader..
