I visited SA and posted my attendance but I figure I'll put it up here. Regardless of weather my guys are coming with me or not I'd like to sign up for "Platoon Leader" if that's available. I saw "Platoon Commander" I'm thinking that's Marine corp for PL. If that is the case I'd like to sign up for 2nd or 3rd Squad leader.

Question on the helmet part:
Helmets: PASGT replica, US M-1 Helmet, M-1 Helmet Liner or similar for US forces. Any Soviet Bloc, Warsaw Pact, East German, Russian, Chinese, Korean helmet or replica of such for Korean forces. Helmets will be required wear only during certain evolutions.

Do we need a helmet to play? Or can only participate in parts of the game if we have one?

Helmets are required gear common to all for the event, while they will be used, they won't be used at all times.

While the majority of the event requirements are based on trying to make this a hardcore MIL-SIM event that will appeal to more mature players, part of the uniform / weapon requirement is based on the assumption that people who want to skirt the requirements - Is my OD wool cap considered a helmet? If I bring my MP5 with a box mag can it be a SAW? Can my Levis and Gonzaga University sweatshirt be considered Woodland camo? - won't attend.
