This is a topic all to close to my fat a$$... Curious to see if there is anything that would fit in the interem while I am in the middle of dropping the LBs from back and knee surgeries.

For me I would be 6'2", 430... No that is not a miss print :-(

Most chestrigs are pretty adjustable, as are many vests, to a degree. Just go into a store and try on a bunch of stuff, see what you like.

Also, please learn to use grammar and syntax. It'll make you skinny.

For OP: Take a look around Andy and Bax (or your local military surplus store), and try on different sizes of BDU's. That will give a uniform sizeing. From your pictures I would GUESS Large/Long, but I'm not sure. For gear, really you just have to try things on. I THINK a H/Y harness with a belt, or a LBV or current gen MOLLE vest would work better for you than a plate carrier. They are usually more adjustable.

To twisted apostle: Don't have many gear ideas, so all I can say is congrats on coming through the surgery ok, I'll drink to your good health.

I once had a Phantom CIRAS that I wore for a long time. At that time I was 270Lbs and it was on almost the tightest adjustment.

There was also another large player (I am not dropping names) that had a Krukspec Ciras that was large enough to fit him.

Bloodshot, you're a size XL-Regular for BDU's, or almost a size LR, but not quite.

EPC sizing is based on plate size, not how fat you are ;)

Get a TT MAV. It won't look as weird and will hold up great.

The HSGI Wasatch and even the Weesatch have way too much shoulder strapping. They fit large people very well due to the huge adjustment features of the straps..etc.

And also, the way they're built makes it seem like they're for bigger guys. When fully loaded with mags it gets kind of stuff making it fit better on a wider person.
