It has blank fire AND airsoft as options. Many people who do blank fire and do airsoft have similar goals and to get more people in period correct gear, many events allow both. Admins will be there to make sure people call their blank hits, as this system is already pretty set up for blank fire only events.

Deffinately interested and if I can I'll bring SOBOS along, we'd be happy to be a SF unit or something.

And I was just thinking I wanted a game to use my 1980's/90's US gear at. Awesome.

I'm interested too. On the KPA uniform, is that full OD or would partial be acceptable?

There are no Secret Recon-Ninja-Delta-Ranger-Seals, only infantry. And if you aren't willing to operate in a unit under a commander I wouldn't come. When Rob posts "Hyper Realism" he is saying it's not an airsoft game where you can sit and sling BBs and smoke and joke, it's meant to be more of an actual military exercise. Both Force Commanders are former combat vet US Marines.

Not trying to be a tool or tell you not to come, just want people to know what it is so they don't come expecting something else.

That's crazy because when I was in Iraq the 2nd ID 3rd Bat. had several recon squads attached to them and two SF squads from the 3rd group attached to them that used their strikers to manuever. I met them actually in a chow hall, really nice guys.

But what do I know? I've never been anywhere or done anything.

Thanks for the tip on the "Hyper realism" I hadn't noticed that, I'll be sure to bring my coleman sleeping bag, Aftermath M4, and wear jeans.

This ain't my first rodeo. I'll be fine, I was just throwing a suggestion out there. The difference between me and many other is that I am STILL in the Infantry.

Ok I'm happy for you. However look at the reality of the situation:

1) You are 19. 99% of the kids on here have played Call of Duty as their extent in military training.

2) You are 19, so at most you've been in the Army for what 2 years? No offense man, but you are still a boot. Everyone is still green for their first couple years. I was there too a while ago.

3) Think about the percentage of people on this forum that AREN'T military. That was not just posted for you, but everyone who read the post. There is a very small number of teams that aren't trying to be delta-ninja-ranger-seals.

4) I've been in a MEU with air, armor, and Naval assets attached to us. When I was in Iraq I did operations with several different units. When I was with Fleet Anti-terrorism we did operations all over the world with extended assets. However THIS EVENT IS INFANTRY ONLY WITH NO ATTACHED ASSETS.

5) Cute comment about the Hyper-Realism, but how many airsoft games have you been to where people act like airsofters? This is not an event for them and we don't want them to show up.

6) This may not be your first "rodeo" but at 19 man you aren't John Rambo, so no need to try to have a tool measuring contest. It was purely meant to deter the average airsoft player from coming and being cranky.

Look, I respect your experience, really, but I'm not green, and being 19 doesn't have anything to do with how I play airsoft. I never insinuated being Rambo and I never wanted to have a tool measuring contest. If you're message was simply to convey that this was an infantry only game, then that was the only thing needed to be said in the first post.

Since that's the case, I'll get my guys ready to do an Infantry mission, I've already got them spun up on all the relevant Infantry Battle drills.

I'm extremely interested (it said minors must be accompanied by an adult; does that adult have to be a parent/guardian?), but I see an issue with the teams, it seems, from my reading (I could be wrong) that there's USFOR on both sides, which would mean woodland-on-woodland, which'd be confusing (and armbands would kill the realism).
