PPSH, now Nagant. Looks like the next airsoft game for WW2 will be on the Eastern front.

I do not think G&G will have shit on Zeta labs for this. Its VSR internals, with some custom parts of course.
They plan on making the M91/30, and then a model with a turned down bolt.

The Pictures look just like my Drummers mosin 44, very very nice detail.

Probably not pickles, but finally we get a new (and most likely) highly-produceable WW2 weapon from a reliable company.

Decided to mention the G&G because its more good news for WW2 airsofters

That Mozin has the same problem of the older replicas. Price. It is an improvement over the 1,200 dollar replica that Red Wolf carried a few years back. But still, 3 times the price of the real thing? Lame.

I don't think I've ever seen a m44 with brass parts...
I gotta say though, I'm more stoked for the K98 then the mosin. I just want to see more K98s on the field, having a whole bunch of russians with just ppshs is more realistic then a bunch of germans with mp40s

Unless the Germans happen to be FJs , then it is more realistic.

The price difference between an RS Nagant and an AS one is because well let's see , how many millions of Nagant where produced from 1891 until the 1950s ?
You can find RS Nagants for as little as $70 because there are so many of them floating around , but there aren't many AS ones so far.

if china man is making cheap bolt actions, then this should be easy mode.

they are just gouging prices at this point.

Agreed. I think it's more of a who's willing to pay x amount kind of deal rather than scarcity.

I have spoken to a few guys at gun shows that know way too much about Mosins for their own good. All of them informed me that the real cost to make a Mosin even in today's world is only about $25. And the reason that they sell for to high is because the Russians and the US gun dealers want a big profit. So $300+ is kinda pushing it.

Well to go from concept to manufacturing is what the biggest cost would have been, since someone had to sit down and design it. I am guess it is for that reason the price is so high, because they want to get their money back from paying the engineer.

I am guessing that it's the real wood. Wood on airsoft is really expensive because the Asia is not good at getting wood cheap for airsoft.

If you wanted them to use old Nagants and just put the guts inside of one, that's custom work, where the labor would skyrocket.
