What would you rather have at a game?

Discuss anything and everything here that's Airsoft related.

I can't remember the last time we were at an outdoor game together, or are you planning a comeback? (Okay you did get married so you get a pass).

On topic...depends on the food and location. If lower price means me driving to the nearest feeding trough (War Paint, The Farm with food being close), I would probably just go there. If higher price and remote location (Splat Action), I'll pay more for convenience. Any way you cut the cake, you're going to spend $5 on lunch food whether you bring it, it's made there, or you go get it during break.
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

Are you serious? You're 15, apparently, make your own damn sammich.

trolololol. i've always ate the game food. It's just hot dogs. You can't really make a bad hot dog. Last game I was at didn't have enough sprite....IDK if this will be easy but cliff bars are great for games. If you play like me you're tired as hell at the end of the game.

This.

Nothing like taking an hour break in the middle of the day, to slow things down...

All day milsim for the win.

So I would say, no food, and low prices.

I use my FAK pouch for an FAK. I like lunchbreaks at games, when it's good food (i.e. not pizza, hotdogs, etc). Burger feeds/barbecues are nice, but they DO slow everyone down.

I'd rather pack an MRE in, or have the snack shack than a lunchbreak (though, If we're talking about milsim, make respawns take longer. That gives people time to eat, rehydrate, stops an infinite flow of reinforcements, and gives people a reason to not charge and die, and actually play).

Meh.
I carry beef jerky and a couple granola bars. That and a camel back full of water and I'm good for the day.

No lunch is the way to go. At Snowmageddon last year Nic let the game run and people who wanted to eat or spawn camp did as they pleased. Nothing better than not losing momentum waiting for a 30 minute lunch break to take an hour and a half. I carry everything I need to play the whole day without interuption.

Well Thanks guys for all the great feedback. Everyone agreed with my original thought on this. believe me, cooking for a large amount of people sucks, especially in the rain..

Now that I know its not really wanted by most, I am not doing it. If you coming to POW Invasion, bring your lunch, cause we aint stopping. 6hrs full immersion here we come!!!

The snack shop with the MREs was good though, so please have those on hand that way I don't have to drive out to A&B to buy one or something ;).
