good replacement mags for kwa m9

Postby Patrick750 » Fri Dec 10, 2010 10:54 pm

my kwa m9 mag has been in the shop 3 times for each for a different problem. It just broke....2 days after i got it back. I won't bother telling you what's wrong because
A I don't know
and
B i've already spent about $100 on that mag

so I was wondering what brand mag could fit in a KWA M9 and replace the stock mag it came with. Would another kwa brand mag work? I was thinking KJW being they're similar companies in a way i think.

just as a side note my $25 SW spring pistol and mag have been more reliable then my now $500 kwa pistol (due to constant repairs from reasons caused by who knows what)....FML

Only NS2 mags are compatible with NS2 guns.

Can you tell us the issues it's having? Many people on here are experience techs and can help fix almost any issue.

Send it in to KWA themselves.

My KWA M9 had been broken for a year or so and several local shops tried to charge ridiculous amounts for nothing actually being fixed- and they took several weeks.

I heard KWA did direct repairs themselves, and decided to give it a shot.

It cost me $40 bucks to fix it when I sent it in to KWA; they are very professional and had it fixed within a week. You even get a list of parts that were replaced and a bag containing the old broken/replaced parts.

(My magazine had been funky/base plate had been lost, along with the pistol getting horrible gas efficiency/not properly cycling).

As far as magazines go;

EDIT: I compleatly failed, I read KWA M9 instead of KWA M9 magazine. It only cost a buck or two to fix the magazine, but the shipping would get you...

fine...but if it costs me another dime i'll just buy a new one

when it get's filled with gas it shoots through the mag and out the top. Out the port were the gas is released when you push in that button on the back of the mag. Also there's a loose piece in the mag and when the mag is moved you can hear it in there.

edit: didn't read g36's post. The new mag is cheaper then the repair...hmmmm..i think i'll just invest in a new mag and give away the old one. Any takers?

So, you need to get the valve fixed... that's a pretty easy fix MOST OF THE TIME. This part should fix the issue. A competent tech can install that part in probably 10 minutes.

The rattle is a copper pipe in the mag that keeps the liquid propane from hitting the seals (iirc). They tend to come loose, but it doesn't hurt anything.

Who have you been taking it to for repair?
