Load out bag

Postby mossy » Fri Nov 19, 2010 11:33 pm

Hey guys, I'm looking for some suggestions on Load-out bags.

I need one that will carry all my gear (Plate carrier, helmet, boots, m4/SCAR, etc.) I would also it be RS gear and in the $100-$250 range.

- Thanks

Go to maxpedtion.com. They are a phenominal company that make what I call apocolapes proof gear. It's legit shit. I have a gearslinger, sidepack, and wallet by them and I might buy another gearslinger soon. They run a little pricy but their gear is serious hard use. Can't compliment them enough. If you can afford it, get one.

You could get a USGI duffle bag. Might be a tad small, but its super duper cheap.
I think I remember Blackhawk making big loadout bags, but they're the only RS retailer I can think of.

I have several duffle bags, I guess I should have stated it would be nice for the bag to have wheels... Currently I'm looking at the 5.11 CAMS bag but it's a little spendy, yet it has everything I need/want.

Not in stock, but I'd look for that. You know its legit since its Eagle ;)

I wouldn't bother with getting something that has wheels since your not gonna be rolling it over the gravel/mud/grass/whatever is out on the field.

Put everything you want to carry in it into a pile, measure the size of the pile and go from there.

Since it has a side pocket thats big enough for a 16" M4 fully assembled, I'd be shocked if you can't fit everything in there.

Don't make me hit you. I'm not afraid to slap children. Ask Limpy and Juice if you don't believe me ;)

Why not use a Parachute Bag?
I have 5 of them and use them all the time to carry my gear .
They measure 24 in x 15 in x 13 in.

I take all my gear, put it in a pile, and then duct tape it into a ball. When I get to the game I find a spot, claim it as mine and un-duct tape the pile. Of course my issue is that I usually bring enough gear for 4 people just in case my Memphis children forget theirs.
