I wear full face mesh because I like to stick just my head over things and around corners, and I expect to be shot at for doing such.

Wondering about the price though, $25 per head times 200+ is over $5000. Must be really expensive to use the field? My best part was near the end of the first half, Mehdi had taken the castle and EDG was attacking from all angles, and Pacman comes out, unloads a mag into the windows, screaming "Oh yeah! Its Pacman, motherfuckers!" I bravely stick my gun out the window and fire a burst at him. He goes down and walks away. Then I hear that we're all dead because the flag was flipped. As we are walking out, Pacman runs up to the window and yells, "Safety kill!". I inform him that we are dead. It was funny.

yea that happened right after i safety killed him. i was wondering what happened there kid, thanks for the clarification.

That is a great idea. I am going to invest in some face mesh as well. I have been lit up in the face or head for the last three weekends in a row. I guess My head is the biggest target on me. :p

I have mine rigged up to a pair of mesh goggles with some "mechanic's wire" I got at Harbor Freight tools, so the only thing I feel is the goggles. I actually often forget it is there, then go to drink or something only to realize I have mesh in the way.

You're an idiot but I'll write it off to your age.
You think event hosting is some kind of bleeding canned food drive for your church?
It aint charity it's business and 25 dollars for a day of entertainment is cheap. Don't think so? Go try golf.

I think the field fee was $20 a head, so Ricks profit margin wasn't all that fantasic.

You are correct Jester. The only reason I even resorted to using this field (paying $20 per and $1,200 deposit) is because my good friend ash liked playing there alot so I thought I would have one there for him (true story).

When I paid the manager, I said to him. That was a good day right? He says about a typical paintball day. Go figure :-)

Because we didn't have any issues the rates did go down for the next crowd that uses it. So yeah your welcome.

BTW There will be no more soft shell orders taking place for those that asked. Sorry :-(

So my wife took some pics of the event as you might have noticed her on the field. For those of you who miss Fred's awesome event photos... you can keep missing them :(
...actually she took some really really good ones and once we go through them a little more I'll be posting them up.

it sounded like she hada auto shudder clicking away.

it would be funny as all hell to catch a sequence of 3 or 4 shots of me getting shot in the face.
