I know what is out there now and made a note of it and if I host another game there I will make sure those issues are taken care of.

Want to bet the covers were sold for scrap?

yep by the guy pulling out the piping for the indians in the underground tunnels as I was told.

Probably the only way to fix for sure is scrap plate welded to the flange, I cannot believe that they would allow access with those holes open.

I agree on the holes. I saw one that wasn't even marked.

I felt like being different, and the fact I didn't have time to post my personal AAR of the day yesterday or until now, I have decided to post it around 30 hours after the game's end. Anyways, great game, good to see all the good folks around, and it was fun to do damage and be comedic relief a the same time. Tiniest 15-year-old there running around with an M60... gotta love it. No, but it was fun doing so and I surprised myself at how much easier it was than I thought. Anyways, one last thing to add in, PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND DEDUCT YOUR OWN TEAM'S POINTS!! That was for the guys engaging the black marketeer without immediately having been fired upon. Anyways, this went way too long, not that anyone'll read it, but still. Thanks Riddick and all for a great game, congrats Mehdi, Thanks all of you for coming out, and I am out!
Please, I insist.

Learned some safety issues following Chesty for the day though...his a$$ sports a 10' kill radius. Good times, but you gotta remember to drop an early morning game day deuce next time brotha! :hurl:

All in all a good game. Next one though, I'd like some rules specific to jackets. At one point, I accidentally shot Geschutz because all I could see was his OD jacket. Most of the day I saw medhi in OD jackets and whatnot, which made it very confusing and lead to the friendly fire on my part. Maybe arm bands if people are wearing jackets? I realize its a small issue, but having a sure fire way to ID a target as friendly or not would be nice.

I would like to add that not having vehicles made this a great game! It relied more on unity of command and infantry than LOLZTANK PEW PEW.

Fun game, but the wide open field and the amount of wind really made a lot of engagements ineffective for one side. Full-out sprinting at the start of round 2 was fun once, but twice was kinda annoying. Not for me, because I relish running, but there was a lot of grumbling on the Mehdi side when we had to walk 400m back and run it again.

Also, I had one incident that I wanted to bring to light. During one engagement that occurred around 80ft, I shot an EDG player in the face. I had popped over a blackberry patch, and thus, had to aim my rifle higher than normal, and the burst hit the player in the face. My rifle only fires in semi and 3-round burst, so it's not like he took 15 bbs to the face, but I still got bitched at and insulted. In the heat of the moment, I told him he should wear full-face protection if he was worried about it. I probably shouldn't have mouthed off, but I was feeling pretty strongly. I personally took several hits to the face on five different occasions, but never complained about it. It is a risk we take when we come out, so bitching about it is pointless.

I don't know who you are, or what you think you're entitled to, but your face is not a magic "no hit" zone. I'm no head-hunter, but if a headshot is the shot that presents itself, I'm not going to wait for anything different.

In case no one mentioned it to Mehdi, the reason for the restart on Round II was because EDG was directed to a spawn point, than told to relocate another 300 yards. Not even 3/4 of the team made it to the new spawn point when we were informed that the game was started. Thus, the restart.

Some people forget that they are playing with full auto (Or in your case 3 round burst) BB guns. So they freak when reality literally hits them in the face (Or the body). Its not fun to get lit up in the face, or to get lit up again when you called hit. But people freak out, thinking that you did it on purpose and yell.

I believe i was around for this, 2nd round right? There is always going to be people that freak out about it. oh well...

Ahh, that makes sense. Round 2 you guys were kicking our a$$ in Somali City too, before the recock. :P

We had the same problem with the West spawn. We started and were staged at what I guess was the diamond field before 2 minutes before round 1 started and they moved us.

I agree, not all of our team was wearing the green headbands, so I had a friendly fire incident as well. Thus is combat I guess, good thing they can just walk to respawn and you don't have to live with the guilt of killing a brother in arms for the rest of your life.

People need to calm down over the headshots. Shit happens. I got a burst in face on 6 or so separate occasions. Oh well, who cares? You get over it and move on.

Best field ever. Finally I don't have to crawl through blackberry bushes and dense woods. And buildings that aren't in complete disrepair. Wondering about the price though, $25 per head times 200+ is over $5000. Must be really expensive to use the field? My best part was near the end of the first half, Mehdi had taken the castle and EDG was attacking from all angles, and Pacman comes out, unloads a mag into the windows, screaming "Oh yeah! Its Pacman, motherfuckers!" I bravely stick my gun out the window and fire a burst at him. He goes down and walks away. Then I hear that we're all dead because the flag was flipped. As we are walking out, Pacman runs up to the window and yells, "Safety kill!". I inform him that we are dead. It was funny.
