Training from 20 NOV - 21 NOV

Location: Silverton Field 2634 Lorence rd Ne, Silverton, OR, 97381
Itinerary:
Saturday: 0900 - 1700
We will cover individual skills on Saturday, perfect for new players or those wishing to practice their perishable skill sets. We will cover individual movement, reaction to contact, use of weapon and how to act within a larger fire team element. We will cover the basics of gear and weapon sights and answer any questions new players have to the best of our abilities.
Sunday: 0900 - 1700
We will cover the Fire team in depth. A fire team is a smaller element, usually 3-6 members, that act alone or part of a larger squad (consisting of 2-3 fire teams). We will cover basic formations and movment of the fire team and stress training on the Fire Team leader and their responsibilities/duties. We will run training lanes to react to contact, break contact and assault/flank with a fire team and end the day with a Practical Exercise skirmish with fire teams and squads facing off against each other, putting what they covered this weekend into realistic use.
Camping:
Silverton is close and not everyone is going to attend both days. Camping is optional, but there will be a giant fire and there are goats with lipstick on site.
Non-Training Skirmishing:
Sunday we will be using primarily the open ground adjacent to the field, so there will be skirmishing available for those who wish to just sling some plastic. If anybody would like to host or have ideas for that, they are welcome. When teams are done training on Sunday they will join the skirmish and attempt to use what they just learned.
