Final Update

Well it is game night. I will admit there are a few details that still need to be worked out, Transition and I will take care of that tomorrow morning. I will be up at the field around 8ish. Also, it is looking like the map will be discarded, and I will not have maps available at registration. Sorry, I will have one to look at though, and if you get there early you can walk the field (highly recommend if you haven't been there).

As far as weather goes, it looks like it will be near 57 degrees, with a 20% chance of rain. Prepare accordingly.

Transition has been telling me he is afraid of people dropping because of obscure rules, don't worry everything will be worked out by tomorrow.

Any admins/teamleads if you read this, please show a little before 9 tomorrow so I can go over what exactly is going to happen. I don't know how many admins I will have (I know there are at least 2) but I will be needing you to work with me on making sure things go smoothly.

So get some rest, and I will be seeing you guys up there tomorrow!

Great game peeps. Despite getting owned in the first half, and the bolt action fiasco in the second, I had a great time. In the future, perhaps a 100' range should be measured out so that newer peeps understand how far their MEDs are, hopefully resulting in less close quarters shots.

Hey guys, thanks for the support. I couldn't have done it without Transition and Dean (sorry I forgot your forum name).

If you want the full story, that looked nothing like what I had planned, but hell as long as people had fun, that's what it's all about right? I hope you all got your money's worth out of it.

Also to Ash and the rest of SOTA I'm really sorry about what happened and I wished I could have been there to at least apologize about it in person, I hope there are no hard feelings, I'm just upset that there had to be so many safety issues on my watch.

And I heard multiple requests for a sequel. So for any other people checking this out who went to the game, let me know what you though (honestly) and any constructive criticism would be amazing.

Thank you guys for being patient and understanding I know there was some waiting around, especially during lunch that is mostly that I didn't get on the grill fast enough, it was slow to heat up. I honestly did my best to try and keep the waiting time to a minimum as I know how annoying it can get. All in all I think it was a great experience, lastly I would just like to thank my dad as he helped with building the crates, and my friend Matt, who isn't on the forums, but who helped with the back story.

Hope you guys had a good time.

Thanks for putting on the game Merchant, not bad for a first skirm. The one thing you cant control is the actions of the people attending as it's always an unknown variable so don't fret too much. Thanks to the Government forces who played admirably and with honor, it was great commanding you all. Thanks to Chesty who pulled off some amazing stunts for our entertainment- your team was great too. To Chief and Vaughn, it was good times playing against you for once but you guys were like ghosts moving around so much.
My one critiques is to limit the amount of bolts if you put out future events and make sure the younger players are aware of engagement distances.

any chance somebody found a pocket knife? would have most likely been near the com station that the outcasts were defending the second round. Possibly in the bunker on the hill above it. Silver hand w/ black border. Black blade, top half straight edge and lower half serrated. If anybody found that i would be very grateful if you let me know.

Thanks

Yea this was an awesome game. I had a great time. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and running around with Chesty who, as Pacman said correctly, lead some awesome stunts. see ya all soon as my team mates or on the other side of my muzzle.
