Lords of War Night Game

Postby Catch22 » Wed Nov 03, 2010 2:24 pm

Saturday Night November 13th
For those attending Lords of War

We'll be having a game the night before LoW (if weather permits)

The games will be timed, attack and defend in the Somali village. Teams will have to find certain glowing objects and return them to the Dead pool.

We'll be playing in and around buildings. 350 FPS or lower would be prefered but not mandatory. Try to keep your shots at center mass. Use of mouthguards and face protection(balaclava, shemagh or facemask) is highly recommended.

For deathrags we'll be using chemlights and glow bands Braddock will have some glow bands for sale if needed.(2 for a dollar). When shot yell hit and proceed to the deadpool with your glowstick held high.

Near the center of the field there are some trenches. I will be marking these as off limits(for the night game). For safety reasons, please stay away from them.

If you are registered and would like to play the night game, Saturday before Lords of Wars, please post below.

I'll play only if that 350+fps limit stays in effect and what would be the time frame on the night game?

Not a 350+fps "limit" more of recognizing the situation and advocating common sense.

I'm up for this game if I get there in time.

@mossy: Eh 400 FPS would be fine in the Somali City. 350 recommended is good, but I see no problem with 400.

I got a cheap price from a friend on MW2 collectors edition and Have those night vision goggles that came with it. I might actually have to bring them and finally put them to good use. They actually kind of word in my backyard, wonder if they work in the field.

I'll be down for trying it out. Probably till I get hit with someone running 370 fps but either way sounds fun

I have a pair as well but i'd be weary if you want to keep them in good shape there made of plastic and i'm not sure what would happen if they took a direct hit.

Also to see more than 30+ ft you have to turn on the high power mode and that turns on the ring of lights in front of your face. Nice round bulls eye if you ask me.
Kick me. I go "Moooooooo!!!!!"

The MW2 ones also have -10 depth perception. Have fun walking into walls.
