I think ill be going to this as my first airsoft experience ever, Ill be happy to provide rides to at most 3 people, depending on how much space equipment takes up, and if you can pay a small amount towards gas, and if you dont mind carpooling with a total stranger and a newbie at that.

I live in Oregon City so if your close drop me a line.

I have some questions on the event though, forgive me im not very familiar with things yet. Can someone explain the respawn rules with a small bit more details, and also I currently have no equipment or camo other than my gun and 1 hi-cap mag, so some suggestion on what gear to buy or what color clothes to wear would be appreciated.

Respawn rules are/will be 3 man/5 min. If you have 3 people at respawn then your all alive. If you've been by yourself/with another person (so 2 people total), and have been there for 5 min, then your back in. Some games this may change, but for the most part, those are the rules that we'll be using.

If you have some grubby clothes that are of the lighter shade (tan or so) I'd wear that. A vast majority of people that show up at Ivans field wear woodland which can make team balance a pain.


As for gear, I'd get some more mags and an ALICE/LBV from a surplus shop. A complete ALICE rig shouldn't run more than 20 (2-3 mag pouches, belt, suspenders, 1-2 canteens) and LBVs generally run 20-30. You don't need anything else to play at our games than a gun and eye pro, but hydration is STRONGLY suggested. Grab a couple .5L water bottles and stick em in your pocket, get a gallon jug of water at leave it at spawn, fashion a goat skin stomach into a carrier, etc.

Weather permitting, we'll be driving to the back part of the field. We'll be staying back there the whole day, so bring all your gear and such out with you.

Also, we'll have set spawns for the whole day as well. We may adjust them a bit if it turns out the game isn't as balanced, but for the most part, they will be static.
