The Cascadian Airsoft Group (CAG) holds a monthly Training. We offer this training as open to anyone who wants to learn the tactics, techniques and procedures of a military operation. Some of the stuff we teach is intended for future mil-sim events, and a lot of it is useful in everyday airsoft games and skirmishes.
It is open to anyone, whether it's a new player looking to meet the local community and get up to speed quick, or veteran airsoft teams.
We'll be hosting this at The Farm (http://www.playthefarm.com) and the cost is $10 per person, which goes to the field, so they can do things such as build MOUT villages and make the site more fun.

FPS
- Realize that we are following The Farm's FPS limits.
- All Fully Automatic AEG's: 400fps
DMR's (incapable of full auto): 475fps
Bolt action/Semi Auto: 550fps
- For the night game we will be staying within the city area. We will still allow up to 400fps but anything above 330fps will be semi-auto only. We are an honor based team and anybody caught going out of this will be asked to leave BANISHED FROM THE LAND. Then we'll get online and tell everyone of your evil deeds so that others can play with you at their own risk.
I am buying approximately 75 glow sticks and the night game will be fast paced with a lot of mini-rounds being played. I encourage everyone to bring their tac lights, their HUTUs and their tracers.
- The weather is predicting two days of rain, with highs of 55-60. This means bring your wet weather gear, or at the minimum, if you're camping, bring a change of clothes. Staying active should help with most of the cold, but an under layer of polypro will do wonders. Wool Commando sweaters also help, which are cheap from Andy & Bax. AONW has a deal going on as well on jackets, and they're very close by.
This field is a BIO ONLY field. Bring your own ammo, or pick up some on site that is for sale.
We are not providing any sort of food or water. Bring what you'll need for playing. There are restaurants (or fast food) and stores within driving distance as well.
Camping
There will still be camping! Please try to bring firewood if you're camping. They have a campfire, but probably not enough good wood. Also it's going to be wet, so the local wood might be hard to light.
If you're under 21, you aren't drinking. I will be checking any and all ID's that are drinking.
There is plenty of space to camp that's flat. I recommend you bring tarps.

0930 Class on Movement, Camouflage, Cover, Concealment
1000 Practical Exercise (PE) in movement and stealth
1030 Class on Squad movement and patrols, Battle Drill 2: React to Contact
1130 PE for patrolling, Reacting to Contact
1300 LUNCH, Packed, 1 each
1330 Quick Class / Review of Radio SOI
1400 Class on Battle Drill 3: Break Contact & Battle Drill 1-A: Squad Attack
1500 Everyone breaks down into squads and engage in a combined exercise, with squad on squad combat using a Platoon Net to control the squad's directions.
1700 End of Day After-Action-Review
1730 Class on basic AEG maintenance by CAG's resident Armorer, Tonka.
2100 Night Game in the Village. 330fps limit and full face protection (shemagh/balaclava counts) highly suggested. See beginning text about night game details.
Sunday, October 24th
- 0930 Safety Brief, break people down into organic elements
1000 Class on Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) and Battle Drill 6: Enter Building / Clear Room, to include hands-on clearing and movement through the village.
1230 Lunch
1300 Class on Raiding and Defending a village
1430 PE on Raids and Village defense. Break everyone into three groups and have them cycle through acting as the Raiding party, the support element and the village defenders
1700 AAR & Raffle. Just kidding. No Raffle.
