What bb weight do you use?

Postby Falcon7 » Wed Sep 22, 2010 6:16 pm

What weight do you use with your gun and why? I just started using 0.25g bbs with my AEG and I found that the increase in performance was amazing.
What do you think is the best weight to use for sidearms, AEGs, snipers, etc?

its more about FPS than what gun it is, but usually the heavier it is , the more accurate it will be, with the sacrifice of range and speed.

sniper rifles, use .3g +

AEGs .20g - .3g

sidearms .2g - .25g

Usually .20s, I used to use .25s when I had an AK, but my SCAR is shooting much lower than my AK was.

10,000 .8's.

No, not really. Mostly .25's and .3's.

.25s in everything. Except my Glock, where I'm trying to use up a bag of .2s I got for free that won't feed in anything else. Feed great in the Glock though. I find that .2s'll give me another 20 feet in my M4, but .25s give me scarily consistent accuracy. I take accuracy over range and get closer if I have to. Some people prefer to keep their enemies at arms length instead of knife fight range.
Just depends on your play style.

.12 also work well indoors with a tri shot shotgun. depends on the application.
