The helmet is also not in keeping with the helmet cuts from that time period. It looks more like the last/current helmet cut. They were still using the WWII cut at that time (correct me if im wrong).

Are those old school flight goggles?

It's actually surprising how similar the modern day soldier is equipped compared to that concept, actually. There is a lot that is the same.

Only thing different is the jumper belt, Hole Diggers, Style of Antenna and Maybe the Metascope? Im not really sure what a metascope is. Sounds like something we may have today.

Well the image metascope seems to be an IR scope from what I read in this thread...hole diggers are sorta like C4. It's all the same concept, just put into different implementation (IE Kevlar and ceramic plates instead of nylon, etc)
