cheap boots

Postby YOGI » Mon Aug 23, 2010 3:12 pm

All my gear is good, but I wear red sneakers. I cant go one game without falling. I need some good boots on the cheaper side.

I hear its best to spend the extra nad get a good pair of boots. Its always worth the extra when it comes to foot wear.

Although.. My Condor Jungle boots lasted me 2 years on the road.. for 20$ i was pretty impressed.

But i realized how much better 100$ boots are when i blew money on them.

Cost of boots < Cost of medical bills.

Save your money for now and just wear hiking boots, as your feet are growing.

Response Gear aren't that bad. I played airsoft in one pair for a year, and never had problems.

I haven't used them, so if they're good then use those. I'm just saying that in the future (two-three years in the future you should get some Bellevilles or Danners.)

Bellevelles for sure, get a waterproof pair if you don't feel like getting wet feet, get the Marines issue desert pair if you don't feel like turning your feet into a human fajita during the summer.
Please, I insist.

Yogi, don't spend a chunk on boots while your feet are still growing. You will out grow anything in less than a year at your age, when your 16 or so spend your money on Danners (made in Portland) You will nor regret the investment. Had / wore a pair since 91 ( Desert storm)

+1 for the RG brand. They're good and affordable, I used them for years until I was able to get something better.
