Well KSC is re-releasing a new Mk23. KWA will hopefully be releasing it. I know they WANT to make the HK45 but the problem is unlike Marui they have to deal with H&K. KSC might make one though and just not import it to the US directly.

The Marui MK23 and KSC MK23 are two different beasts. While the Marui MK23 is NBB and is a silent meanie, the KSC is a loud beast of a gun. Beast. BEAST. Both are great. Just putting this out there for people who don't know.

Agreed. I own the springfield xd chambered in 9mm and I simply must say that it is 100% awesome. I would love to get the two tone version from ksc and compare the airsoft version with real steel.

The Mk23 was the original design. Then the USP series came out, Socom went with the USP compact, then requested the USP Compact Tactical. Then H&K Developed the P30 to replace the USP CT THEN they further developed the HK45 and HK45 Compact Tactical.

Correct, but I think that the MK23 was originally designed for SOCOM (specifically the SEALs), and they kept updating the design further (USPc, etc etc).

The MK23 was designed by H&K specifically for the SEALs. Military version of the MK23 had a several features that were not available to the public. Uppon realizing that the MK23 would not sell because of it's size, and lack of features. They began by decreasing the size and making it's lack luster companions.
