NJROTC is switching to the khaki clothes this coming school year, it'll be nicer worrying about 2 less uniform involving more than 2 shirts.. Because it was annyoing

Interesting that MCPON has his sleeves rolled AF/Army fashion.

I had to go back and look.

Does anyone know if the Navy is specifying one way or the other?

in all my time on AD and in the NG i have never once rolled my sleeves up like that. i have no idea how to do it. so saying "Army Fashion" is a no go at this station mister :)

if the standards for rolling up your sleeves are anything like they used to be. it is a seasonal thing only and has to directly reflect the heat index. lest thats what it used to be bitched about by the guys who transfered into my unit who wanted to role there shit.

anyone found out how much these things cost per set? (including hats and boots)

That is the way the Navy does it, I believe they do it that way cause it's faster to undo in case of fire.

I'll read the sheet again, but it would have been nice if they could do it the green-side-out fashion. The old whitesleeve method was a phony pony to undo in a hurry.

Crimmins, this is because you are a wee lad, and probably never wore BDUs.

Devil-Nuts, I have never seen USN personnel roll their sleeves green side out in any utility uniform (save the above picture). They have always done white sleeve/USMC style.

I remember rolling my sleeves like that, and polishing my boots. Crimmons, as a wee lad, knows nothing of such things. I have a feeling that he's only ever worn tactical pajamas/ACU. Poor kid knows nothing about looking good in uniform.

Ah the good old days of ironing and starching cammies, polishing my combat boots and spit shining my jungle boots.

Even Mini remembers the days when Men wore uniforms, instead of Tactical Pajamas.

Bet ol' Crimmie is trying to come up with some kind of snappy come back about tactical pajamas, and tactical bunny slippers.
