One of the most fun games I've been to in a while. Juice and Ka-Bar, it was good working with y'all yesterday. Anyone who missed that game, well . . . . you missed out on a good time.

I had a great time. I apologize for leaving early--it looks like my brother is going to be fine and dandy, though.

Props to the NG and especially the survivors--you had us on the ropes the whole first round. Infected, you did great, also.

How'd the scores turn out?

EDIT: Oh, Mrs. Ogre said she had fun, but didn't like the wait to start, and thought a bunch of you were "pussies." Her word, not mine. Something about being afraid to move up and attack, I believe. She says she'll probably play again, but won't be a regular attendee (she's a busy lady with a lot on her plate).

Thanks to Rick and his merry band of admins...a well organized and well run event. Nicely laid out...pizza gets my vote!! I also like the idea of the med tent.

While a bit more chaotic than the first Resurrection, this was still a fun day of airsoft!

We had some serious hot micing issues on NG...no offense to our "army" of newer players, but we need a basic "How to" lesson on how to use your radio...and what to talk about!!

There was waaaay too much chatter un-related to the game, and obviously a lot of players who plain did not know how to set their radio up. (The difference between PTT, and VOX, for instance...)

[hops off soapbox]

Still, I had a blast! Thanks to all my NG teamates, and to Cape for being our fearless leader!!

Agreed. The radio thing was kind of a PITA.

Thanks to the admin and all those that helped out. Had a great time and though the chaos level was more then I would prefer in the end we got play with our friends and had a great time.

Oh and a big thanks to the NG team leaders. You all held it together through all the mayhem!

So you're "Cletus" huh? :p I really liked yours and Juice's redneck loadouts. I was going to go wife-beater (A-shirt) in the second half, but my moisture-wicking tee was cooler (temperature-wise) so I went with that instead. Kudos to Ka-bar's scout rifle as well. I had seen the scout rifle thread just a couple days before, so I was impressed. And Juice: you're a real take-charge kind of guy. I admire that. It'll take me a while to get there.

One time in the second half I did grab a couple guys who were just reentering the village from respawn. I'm like "Hey, you two want to have some fun?" They say "Oh we've been having fun." I point out a pole with no flag on it near the back of the village. Tried to cover them while they rushed it. They got hit from the treeline and I got hit a few seconds later from around the white building. Good times. We had solid control of 4 poles, why not take a little risk? In hindsight, I could have micromanaged them and gotten them to bound up to the pole in multiple steps instead of one rush. Maybe next time.

Overall, a fun game. I think I got hit about 5 times as often as I hit anyone, but at least I got my exercise!

That was an awesome game! Glad I could make it. It was a very target rich environment :)

KA-BAR, I was right behind you and Bush Killer when you had that sweet head shot! Bummer the dude didn't call it. You were a good sport about the whole thing props to you. It was fun running with you!

Oh and uh.... I heard that the famed 12 year old actually yelled "let's SUCK some cute kitty!" which is way funnier to me because it makes even less sense haha

Thanks for putting on a great game Rick!

Thank you admin and I am sorry. I shot two of you because you were in the vicinity of the enemies.

Thanks for a fun Game Rick. You're a great host.

Also to the admin, Redd and Pacman. I too am sorry about the times I shot you. It was totally an accident.... Um yeah, because you were right by the enemy and I would never shoot either of you on purpose. ;)

Unfortunately, it's part of being an admin. One of the games I got shot the most at was Grid 18:II last year, and I was wearing the orange vest :P That said, sorry for getting an admin shot by popping around a corner and being behind him

First time I've had internet access since this weekend.

First off thank you to all of the players that attended. You don't know how much I appreciate the support you give me by attending my games. Without you I wouldn't be doing this.

Thank you to my admin for doing a great job of working together to make sure things run real smooth. Your help was greatly appreciated.

I thought the event turned out okay. Due to the radio issues we were having, I quickly had to shift a few things and the second half was not exactly how I intended it to be but because I relied heavly on the comms to work I didn't have much of a backup plan. I learn something new each and everytime I do one of these.

Many of you asked if I had another game in mind and in fact I have one left for the year. It's called "Lords of War" and it's part faction wars esque and part something completely new that I haven't done. It will be played in October at Warpaint in Keizer and I will announce it in a few weeks (Stay Tuned). I got a couple of cool raffle prizes lined up for this.

Besides being a part of a few other events planned for the year (admining/selling ammo) I intend to start playing again since fall is my favorite time of the year to play.

Again thank you you all for coming and hopefully see you at the next one.

Yes!!! Another Riddick event!!! I'll be sure to attend.
Wait... Keizer? Man, that's a bit of a stretch for me, but I'll still go.
Please, I insist.
