Airsoft Training Academy's second training session will be September 25th (Saturday).

What: Training in individual airsoft rifleman skills, and fireteam/squad skills
When: September 25th. Show up between 9am and 9:30am, expect to start at 10am
Who: Individual Players who wish to improve.

Schedule:
9-10am - show up, register
10am - Briefing

This will repeat the curriculum from the first training session for players that missed the first session, and give the players that attended previously a chance to practice their skills.

I've been getting some PMs so I'll post it here.

The curriculum is more or less the same as the last training, although I hope to get through more material. People that went to the first one would benefit by going to this session to practice their skills, and people that missed the last training would benefit from coming to this one.
Once again there is no cost, and as long as you have the gear on the packing list you can come.
Packing list:
Eye Protection
AEG, magazines, Bio BBs (Silverton is a biodegradable BB only field)
Boots
Water, food, and a way to carry these into the field

Variable... I would like to offer myself as a guest speaker and OpFor. I don't think you need my credentials, but if you want them just because...send me a PM.

Airsoft Players....even if you did this previously it is allways good to get back to the basics. It takes 10,000 repititions before something becomes muscle memory. Even your military refresh the basics every year, I have zeroed my rifle an un-godly number of times.

Hope to see you there.

Attack37, I'd love to have you on board. Your rifleman class several years ago was part of my inspiration for this.

I'm down. I can be OpFor if you want, but more practice can never hurt.

Sounds great....I'll be there. We can get together over some drinks or coffee sometime and catch up.

OpFor.... please remember, you are not there to shoot the shit out of people, you are there as a training tool. Expect to be shot at alot, and told to limit your aggression and ROF. Honeslty, if I had my choice, I'd have all OpFor with bolt action 400 fps rifles.

The OPFOR is filled up with APST and SOTA members mostly. They have orders to keep their aggression in check and go along with the crawl-walk-run philosophy. While exercising in the field I'll have radio comms with the OpFor to keep them in check when the trainees need to stop for instruction or otherwise.

I should have figured you had everything under control.... just seen too many training events get destroyed because OpFor starts trying to rack up the kills.

Nope. Non-Bios are perfectly fine. In fact that's what I sell if anyone needs to buy ammo the day of.
