I know he is long gone, but he had some pretty neat toys in there.

Yeah, but the guy zapped his whole section himself. AP mods aren't to blame for that.

I didn't blame anyone, I am quite aware he did it himself.

I have to try and find a picture of it, I've seen it in person a couple times, but back here in Jersey, this one guy, James, has actually taken a G3 (a classic army as I recall, but I'm not sure) And modified it heavily so it resembles the assault rifle from Fallout 3. He even messed with the wood stock to make it look like it was old. I'll post pics if I can find them.

I also think he might be selling it soon.

Thanks, I know it looks kinda STALKER-ish but oh well, I'm a fan of those games too... Besides the Fallout games take place in deserts, I think this goes better for the more "lush" wasteland of the PNW. As for the gas mask I just tested it, and the mesh failed to deflect a shot from my SVD. So I'll have to either wear eye pro. underneath it, or figure out something else.

BTW the R91's in F3 resemble CETME's. The stocks used to be fairly easy to get for cheap, but they're a bit much now. Here's one for 60$ http://www.surplusbunker.com/index.php? ... ts_id=3252

I just went to Andy & Bax to pick up some gear for my Raider loadout.

They have $10 jumpsuits and coveralls. The rattier, the better.

I made the mask, cuisses, and bracers from scratch. The rest is mostly Goodwill + some distressing and minor sewing/button changes :P

Okay you have to toss a grenade, run head long and someone with nothing but a combat knife at some point in the game! :P One of my friends was saying it would be really cool to record a bunch of 3 Dog and have it on a loop while playing. I'd freaking love to be shooting while hearing "I don't wanna set the world on fire" (Can't remember the name of the song sadly). I can't wait for this game :D

The hardest part about this game for me will be deciding between using my G3 and using my AK47 (with a folding stock just like the one in game). Oh the choices! Sadly I'll be a Super Mutant and I can't really do too much of a costume for that :(

Do pushups constantly from now until the game. Don't shower or brush your teeth. Also: shave your head smooth. Come to the game shirtless, muscular, bald, and filthy. There's your costume. Other than that, there's not much you can do.

Skin special effects + greenish/yellow tinted body paint.

Possibly contacts if you're that awesome.

And Super Mutants need to fight with mops. Foam melee mops.

yeah, I would be really upset if not many of the SM came in costume. Someone should make a SM costume for the heck of it just to give those guys some inspiration.

I'm a cute kitty and want every bit of my skin covered with clothing as I can :p The most I think I'll do is try to speak like a super mutant. And, if I find some and have the time, paint my face green :P

...You forgot that you have two mutant overlords leading the charge. Perhaps they have given some thought to their costumes.

People keep forgetting this isn't going to be in the Capital Wasteland. No Three Dog. I'm trying to find an old battery operated radio to go in the village and hoping we can pick up one of the Portland jazz stations. I heard one a while back that sounded perfect.

The G3 and AK aren't the only assault rifles in the Fallout series, you've also got:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/FN_FAL
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Assault_carbine
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Semi-Automatic_Rifle (Yes, a frickin' Garand)
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_rifle

If you're looking to stay strictly to game content, that is.

You can also use P90's, tommy guns, just about any shotgun or bolt rifle, and of course, the holy hand grenade ;)

I totally forgot about Fallout 1 and 2 for a second :( Um 89.1 is all jazz and it's from Mount Hood Community college (so it should come in well enough). It's really an awesome station.
