nice try. You don't use silverware.

True. I usually wrap the butter in a steak and eat it like a taco.

Pocket knife:
EDC: Benchmade 3300, partially serrated on the outside edge.
Dress: HK Tumult (First poduction run #187)
Backup: Benchmade CQC-7

Fixed Blade:
Work knife: SOG Seal Pup Elite
Stabby stick: Applegate Fairbourne Desert Fighter

I've carried a whole lot of pocket knives. I carry Benchmade because I don't want to have to care about whether or not it will work when I need it.

I'm sort of meh on fixed bades. I generally would rather have a spare mag of ammo for my secondary and a pocket knife than carry a fixed blade. When I need one, the SOG simply refuses to fail.

But then, I am too pretty to knife fight, so my opinio is a bit biased. To me they are just tools, not weapons.

benchmade for the win!
I have three and they get lots of use.

second comes leatherman.
I really have to say that the leatherman tools have just about the sharpest edges I have every seen and used. no really they are so sharp it is scary.

Day-to-day: Kershaw Blur 1670SBT

Backup/Survival: Gerber River Runner Sharp Tip

Picked up the Kershaw about two years ago at the warehouse sale for $29, with the normal price $99.95. It's speed-assisted, which makes it legal in more places than an auto (although I really wish I could afford to pick up a Benchmade too though). Typically, the warehouse knives have "XXXX" stamped into the blade so as to void the warranty, but if you dig around, you can usually find one without.

The Gerber was also a warehouse sale, and set me back about $12, with the normal price $43.20

I recently sent my Benchmade 14750 Pardue Auto in for repair because the auto spring failed after about 2 years of use. They not only did they replaced the spring free of charge, but they also sharped the knife, cleaned it, lubed it, replaced all the screws, the safety, and the pocket clip. All free of charge.

:D

I have a real WW2 KaBar that's my favorite, but its more of a collectible because it is so nice. I have a newer KaBar too, but that only really sees use when I'm camping.

Me and my dad's Gerber Big Rock. For camping or, if push comes to shove, self defense.
